Getting knocked down like Davie Price on roller skates by a crack head, the shame of it. I've never seen Vit on bambi legs. 88% KO's, 16 championship fights, :hey
McCall was a puncher, him being a crackhead a few years later doesn't take that away, besides Lewis had the balls to actually rematch his opponents himself.
He quit. Nobody forced him to stop. He made the decision. He could have soldiered on and tried to see out the fight knowing that he had a wide lead and could jab and clinch and survive for three rounds to get the win but he chose to give up and quit and hand the win to Byrd. It's quitting no matter what spin you want to put on it. Could it have been a justified decision based on a injury suffered? Of course it could, but that still wouldn't change the fact that he, Vitali Klitschko, quit on his stool with three rounds to go, that he, Vitali, chose to stop fighting. That's exactly what it means to quit - to give up - and that doesn't become an irrelevant definition of the term just because the reason might be justified.
Vitali got dropped by Pele Reid - Ko2 even vitali's wife has asked lewis to rematch as vittles was "going mad" over TKO6
But yet Vitaly landed some clean right hands and couldn't get Lewus off his feet Even with his 88% KO record. So much so, that Lewis fought the last 3 rounds with his hands down. And seeing how Vitaly fans love quoting Foremans commentary from this fight, Foreman even said "Lewis clearly has no respect for Klitscko's power".
:good Because Vitali´s power is overrated. Watch the fight against David Tua and there you can see how Lewis fought against a puncher. Lewis took Vitali´s best shot and Vitali never believe that this could happen. Lewis walked threw Vitali´punches and won TKO 6. In a rematch he would have knocked Vitali out. Lewis always did better in the rematches.
He couldn't do much worse considering he was KTFO'd by one blow in either bout. :hey You need to watch that second round again. Lewis was very lucky to surivive it, probably the worst beating he's taken in any career round. It was after that he went into hit and hold mode.
