i thought lennox suffered from that fight. vitali was a relative unknown going into that fight and came out the heir to the heavyweight throne. it wasn't until going on the internet among the ******s that i saw people actually thinking that was a great career defining win for lennox.
Vitali is nothing close to Lennox, and the fact that he went life and death with a 38 year old past his prime worst shape of his career version of Lennox proves it
And 58-56 means nothing. That fight could easily have been scored a draw, and the judges differed in scoring the rounds. It's not a 6 round fight. It's a 12 rounder I suppose Tommy Hearns should have beaten Ray Leonard in the first fight because he had an even more convincing lead on the scorecard.
At first this fight helped Vitali's resume proving he was an elite in the division. Now, it clearly favors Lewis since history looks at who got the W, moreso that the actual fight. Thats 3 top 20 ATGs Ws on Lewis resume...Vitali has one, maybe 2, and theyre both Ls. :think
Lennox did win, but to choose retirement over a rematch was a ***** ass move, especially when the fans wanted it and the money was right. I know he was joking, but saying risking his legacy is worth 50-100 million just proves he is chicken****.
Klitschko fans are grossly deluded. They really thinka guy with 100 stitches in his face was going to turn around the next round and win. The most likely scenario would be Lennox just tear his face off and Vitali being horribly and irreparable damaged in the face likely needing to transplant skin from his legs onto his face.

Look at the fight. Lewis caught Vitali with a big right in the 3 rd round. When he followed through the tape from the gloves caught Vitali and caused the cut...It is obvious to everyone except klitsko fans.
He marked up Vitali through the fight with illegal holding and hitting. Should have been warned, docked points and then DQ'd but the ref was an inadequate midget. If not DQ'd a technichal decsion in Vitali's favour. Never a tko anyway, the fight was stopped due to a cut that was not from legal shots according to WBC rules that means recourse to cards, all 4-2 Vitali.
