Did you know Lewis never fought a southpaw as a professional, also he himself said he hated them which is why I believe he never fought Byrd. Not saying Byrd would have won but I think he may have made Lewis look bad in the process.

Sure! Vitali may have been blind if that fight continued. But that's his own choice. If he wanted to continue, then the referee and everyone else must respect his decision. Since it's for Vitali to decide if he is okay with his body to continue or not.

Alternatively, if the fight continued, Vitali may have also broken Lennox Lewis's nose for good. But we'll never know, because the referee prematurely intervened and stopped the fight before any of those things could take place. And true boxing fans that are not a fan of either guy would've wanted the fight to continue until an indisputable conclusion was made. Just like myself. Ref and docs stop fights all the time against the wishes of the boxer. They have a duty of care, which is a legal requirement within the medical profession. You couldn't be more wrong if you tried. Sorry for my intervention, I don't mean to rub salt(y) into the wound....

The referee stopping the fight in favor of Lewis means Lewis couldn't beat a total scrub, trash and a stiff idiot like Vitali Klitschko by himself without the intervention of somebody else. In other words, Lewis couldn't totally incapacitate Vitali himself, to the point where Vitali couldn't continue or couldn't even say he wanted to continue. Ergo, Lewis was exposed as a limited boxer with weak punching power.

It also proves Lewis couldn't indisputably win!
