I didnt like Woods after the fight, being so humble etc. He looked happy just to be there and get paid. If he was furious with his performance I would respect that as I believe a non freezing woods gives tarver problems.

I agree with the you on Dawson.

The ignorance of some people on here is ridiculous.

Mr Brit hater - you are an idiot.

I was expecting him to give it everything he had left as well, I'm just surprised he had that much of it left to give. I'll gladly admit I was dead ****ing wrong about that . Props to Tarver.

Thats very cool of you to admit that, we all get fights wrong, just very few come out and say it, they rather gloat after there fighters win. I feel Tarver has enough left to give a decent showing against a Kessler or even a Dawson, both of which could make for interesting matchups. As much as people hate Tarver for whatever reason, he at least came to fight tonite, and did what he had to do get a pretty big win.

No problem, I never got why people take it personal when they pick a fight wrong and duck out of admitting it- at the end of the day, we're all just betting on someone else proving us right and have no control over the outcome anyways .

When Tarver comes to fight, I've got zero problem with him. His inconsistency just wound up annoying the hell out of me over time, because the mouth was always there, even if the effort in the ring wasn't. Between that and picking comeback fights way out of his league, I actually thought he didn't have anything great left in the tank.

I agree with you and also think he's got one more excellent effort in him after tonight. It seems like there's been alot of pressure to get the Dawson fight made, but I'd be just as happy with Kessler as well.

You're right whoever said we all pick them wrong at some point. I have a huge problem with people totally inflating one guy and undermining another guy.

Clinton Woods is good but the way people here in post leading up to the fight were calling Antonio out was ridiculous. You'd think the guy never did anything in his career in the ring save for a "Rocky" movie was his only accomplishment.

Yeah Hopkins beat him but this was Bernard Hopkins and while Clinton is no Hall of famer, jsut to see how easy Tarver had a time with him really shows you the differences between classes of fighters there are.

That was Tarvers best performence in a while. The crowds boos were unjustified. This was no where nearly as exciting as the fist fight but god damn it, it was pretty good. What surprised me more was that it was Tarer who was pushing the action.
