yeah I dont want to see Lacy get KOed by that ******* Tarver of all people. Its a terrible matchup for him. He looked like **** against Manfredo, a guy he would have blasted out in the early rounds a few years ago. He was very stiff and slow he needs some warm up fights against some tin cans to get that practice in and work on just boxing and being fluid. He looks like he is scared to get hit. He needs to build his confidence by boxing with some guys who cant hurt him, not getting KOed by an old rusty Tarver.
This fight evidently is not going to happen. I'm happy for Jeff that it isn't. Watching him get the **** beaten out of him by Calzaghe was one thing; losing to Tarver would be much worse.
