Getting closer to the date, here. Odds are as follows: Tarver: -1100 Santiago: +700 The over under is 9.5 rounds. Is Tarver gonna be able to KO this panzy? Or is he too much of a panzy? I've never seen or heard of Santiago. Is he gonna be ready to fight?
Tarver was supposed to fight Danny Green (a very decent fighter) before Green pulled out to fight Stripe Drews for WBC belt. Maybe we will let this one slide as far as taking on tuff opponents
Green didn't actually pull out of the fight, he never received an actual signed contract after trying to contact tarvers camp non stop with no replys.
Yeah that might be true but there's so many conflicting stories about what happened, it's hard what to know was the truth
Tarver's record is a lot better than Erdeei's though. Erdei hasn't fought a top 10 guy in like 4 years (Julio Gonzalez). Gonzalez was in the top 10 back when they fought and that's the only top 10 fighter on Erdei's record.atsch
A gaggle of silly geese is what they are! Just seems downright silly to pull that BS to me...Hopkins' career is solid enough that overzealous fans don't need to resort to such gross underhanded tactics as exaggerating what's barely an 'accomplishment' when you scratch beneath the surface. :verysad Especially because that sets a precedent for people calling foul in situations where it doesn't apply (ie, people will say that Calzaghe fans overhyped Kessler to make the win more special, when in truth any neutral observer could plainly see that Kessler WAS a special win and IS a special fighter; whereas Tarver has never been special or a very laudable trophy). :nono
"Barely an accomplishment?" I hate Milkdud as much as the next guy, but if he was that bad, why did it take until the Hopkins fight to see him pugilistically pantsed? Tarver wasn't special then or now (at least not in any historical sense), but Bernard didn't just take advantage of that fact. He more or less proved it to us, where Roy couldn't. As long as we're playing six degrees of discreditation beginning with Antonio Tarver, then I guess we can continue by calling Glen Johnson a club fighter. :nono
