To those who claim to have read the news, are there any specifics on his condition? I sincerely hope that it was a minor haemorrhage and that he is recovering in hospital.
i can only find report about him having to stay in hospital for a week and maybe short term memory loss
The back of his head hit the canvas very very hard. First reports were about a severe concussion, but medically that doesn't mean much. I hope he just banged his head and that's all. I think official medical statements will be released only later - if ever. I wish a quick recovery for Taylor.
It could be just the thing to make retire at the right time instead of getting knocked out several more times.

Retirement is usually mandatory after any sort of haemorrhage. I just hope his condition continues to improve and he enjoys his retirement. Despite his flaws he's a gutsy fighter with lots of heart.
Why? If its true, its ****ing horrible thing to happen and I'd be absolutely gutted. But thats boxing, and I'm sure JT knows all about the potential risks.
