it was a good close fight, but i thought everybody thought pavlik won...talkn about something crazy though. what about the undercard fight b4 where the 2 judges had it for the one guy by like 8 rounds and then the 3rd judge had it 120-108 for the guy that lost lol

Yes, actually you're right -- his power is excellent. I was wrong not to give him the credit.

Pavlik is also very poised. Very mentally stable in the ring.

    a great characteristic

Taylor boxed exceptionally but... he was not as consistant as Pavlik.. who boxed solidly throughout the fight.. I had it by two rounds to Kelly... A very entertaining bout..

I had it pretty close to even going into the 11th - pavlik decidely won the last two rounds, and based on the fact that taylor needed to come out an DECISIVELY beat pav to win a decision....i understand why pav got the win.

First watch of the fight i had taylr 6-4 going into the 11th

Remember there were not many fans of Taylor when he ended Hopkins reign, and won a close decision in the rematch. Both close but clear decisions. Many once again hated Taylor when he got that draw against Winky.

Again I was a bigger Winky fan at the time and I am still a bigger fan of Ex. When I first scored each of the Taylor/Hopkins fights both bouts were 7-5 in favor of JT, and 115-114 over Winky (I scored the last round 10-10 because neither fighter wanted it) These were close decisions and he deserved the nod in all 3 fights. Even though you could make a case for Winky winning, these are far from robberies.

While Taylor was unpopular among boxing fans he was crucified for fighting Spinks.

When he fought Pav and got KO'd keyboard warriors were saying this "fraud" got what he deserved, now the haters are saying Taylor fans are complaing about a close decision.

Last time I checked Taylor didn't have many fans when he won those close decisions. He got trashed everytime his name came up, no one defended him. Now he shows a great effort in a close loss, where he showed improvement for the first time since Hopkins, and the haters still ***** about JT.

Finally some are starting to see the class act Jermain Taylor is, he gave Pavlik nothing but credit for the win. He took an immediate rematch when 90% of fighters today would avoid a fighter like the plague if they were KO'd by them and he went 12 strong rounds in the rematch.

Taylor is starting to get the credit he deserves as a very good fighter who takes on all challenges and dares to be great, just check out his resmue don't take my word for it, this man would step in the ring with any SMW today and not think twice about it.
