It was nearly a replay of the Pavlik fight. Hell the knockdown was just like a snapshot from the Pavlik fight, on the ropes and sitting there. Just amazing of that.
havent saw the Pavlik fight but saqw his title defences before that fight i have the second pavlik fight sopmewhere but havent watched it
I have the fight, pretty amazing fight, one of my all times faves. I judge the Froch Taylor fight off of Youtube of couse, but after seeing the first Pavlik fight a 100 times, lol. I can recall it well. Is your copy of the rematch ppv? or the HBO reaired? Belive it was during a replay of a Wlad fight?? Thompson? perhaps.
I think that Froch is one of those fighters where technicaly they dont add up, but based on raw talent and intangibles they are going to be a nightmare for anybody. This cook will only make spicey dishes.
yeh your right i wouldnt say fight more move in front of tv cameras for 45 mins when your dreaming yu dont need to be put to sleep
I belive people look to much into the technicaly side of this, just because Froch does not fight like Hopkins or DLH or Ali does not mean he sucks or is a bad fighter or bum(Gen fourms comments) For evey Ali, there is a Joe Fraizer, for evey Marciano there is a Walcott. Hell no matter how technicaly surpast Joe Gans is compare to Battling Nelson, Gans was always going to have hell with Nelson. And there 3 fights prove it. Some times its not skill that wins, but Will, heart and brute force. As was the case here.
Early in his career Nelson could be very entertaining and exciting believe it or not. Believe it or not Ruiz was more entertaining pre-Tua As for Froch, he's not an elite fighter, he'd be schooled by Calzaghe/BHOPs and would have lost this 1 if Taylor didn't have **** poor stamina
yeh i remember Ruiz being a kinda boxer-puncher but Nelson exciting i watched an exhibition with him in it for charity and it put me to sleep
