Remember when he first came up they were building him up as the all-american boy, Mr Nice Guy? That really didn't work out:eeek:

Man, the hits keep on coming...

Poor guy shouldn't have so much as entered the S6, in hindsight - let alone been sanctioned another five times after he was KTFO by Abraham. We tend not to really think of dominant victories (such as Jermain had versus
Raúl Jorge Muñoz, Jessie Nicklow, Caleb Truax and Juan Candelo in that run before Soliman) as contributing to neurological defects, but they do. Every little bit exacerbates the problem when there is that much preexisting damage. Think of it like a cocktail glass you've dropped a few times from counter height, and it begins to crack in spiderweb formations but doesn't break entirely. Then, finally, one day, you tap a demitasse spoon ever so gently against its rim and the whole thing shatters as if from a gunshot, with shards flying everywhere. Same principle.

That was another 24 complete rounds (and three partial) totaling 76½ minutes in the ring. Now, unless Jermain ate zero punches above the neck spread over a span of 76½ minutes, then his brain was further chipped away upon during this period. Taylor was okay, defensively, but he was never Willie Pep and even against journeymen I believe he never pitched a no-hitter in any single round in his career.

Then add in 12 grueling rounds with Soliman - complete with abundant clinches, butts & rabbit punches, no less!!! - and yeah, sending an unfit Taylor into the gladiatorial arena even once after 2009 looks, in the rearview, like a VERY bad call.

He has brain damage. It pretty obvious that he needs treatment. But if he is unwilling then it's hard to commit him.
U.S. ****ed it's laws and the number of patients in mental institutions has decreased drastically over the decades.

I really hope he gets some help. He drastically needs it.
Prison might end up making things even worse(depending where they put him).

Go look at some of the footage from his late 20s. And then look at his late 30s. Dude is a different man.
He just had too many wars and took too much damage.

I suspect police brutality is afoot here, he's 99% being framed.

I wish they hadn't suspended his sentence. Taylor needed to be away from society for a while - if not to get his mind right (although hopefully that would be a byproduct) then in order to reduce endangerment to anybody caught in his blast radius and prevent him from bringing further penalties down on his poor excessively shaken up snow-globe of a head.

I’m sure you’re right,to go from leaving court and getting off and then go do the same thing within weeks is very odd behaviour even for a hardened criminal.

Perhaps he can go and stay with you and your family then if you really think otherwise.
We’re it his first time you could maybe think that but he’s a repeat offender.

It's a mental disease, caused by the constant abuse by the police....

    It's the police's fault.

The minorities are being abused on a DAILY BASIS!!
