That is an awful fight to take. I mean if Taylor wants to play it slow, he could fight somebody like Allan Green...or I dunno..anybody thats not Pascal. He looks very questionable taking that fight right after Froch beat him, and he really has nothing to gain and everything to lose.
Froch could be injured but think he needs to get the fight signed now and could then postpone later if needed.

Im not so sure thunder usually I'd be all over this and be calling for the ducking fighter in questions head. But whether you like Taylor or not, doing bhopx2-ouma-spinks-wright-pavlikx2-lacy takes some guts. I honestly think this is about money and that Froch doesnt bring much to the US.
Beating a faded Lacy , getting floored in the process gave Taylor all the reasons for ducking both Froch and Kessler.

Froch is fine. If Taylor backs out of this one he is officially a fraud. Turning down a fight for a vacant title in favour of an eliminator for the same vacant title is bad enough - then to run away when a mandatory is embarrassing. It's ok with the whole 'former middle champ' stuff - but Taylor is a nobody at 168. He hasn't done ****, like it or not.

Taylor is a man who has taken on all comers but of late, his business decisions have not gone straight to the logical man. That doesn't mean he's "ducking" or "avoiding" fighter XXX. I mean him taking the rematch against Pavlik just a few months after getting brutally KOed when everyone in the world expected him to take a tune up saids everything you need to know about the guy. He was will willing to do the immediate rematch with Winky but Wink pulled out.
True, if he was a less well known chasing after a big name I'd think he was trying the old "beat him more impressively and people will start clamourin for the fight" trick. But I wouldn't see the purpose of that here - the Froch fight is there for the taking as and when Taylor decides he wants it.
I assume this thread started before the article on the main page about froch being ready to fight (pretty much). I rate taylore as a boxer and am not sure if Froch could beat him. None the less I wanna see this fight so that froch can start to get some of the money that I think he deserves!
