The first loss makes you reevaluate your life completely. Have you never really been that good after all???? Is this all you have wanted it to be? Take time off and come back or get back in the gym without the posse of leaches this time? Taylor comes back after the big loss, he truly is a champion. If not, he never was.

Taylor in the post fight interview reminded me somewhat of Tyson following the Lewis KO in the dressing room.

He sounded like a broken man in the interview, and it seems like his commitment to boxing has been tenous since the Wright fight. He should probably take some time off to figure-out if he still wants to do this, because at his level there are no more easy fights to be had.

The man just lost the middleweight championship of the world and the earning potential that goes with it - not to mention it was his first loss as a professional. Of course it ain't gonna be all shits n giggles. Taylor can take him next time out the gate. Will he remains to be seen.

He wasn't on the verge of tears, he was just soundly defeated and looked the part similar to Little Mac in Punch-Out with the towel draped around his neck after you got your ass kicked.

Taylor was shot after he knocked down Pavlik. He couldnt sustain any consistency after it. He definitely has some sort of problem with fitness.

    Well, your prediction was wrong.

As for the interview... you need to understand that Taylor had just been crying before they interviewed him most likely. The guy was probably just in tears and that's why he left the ring to begin with. He trained his hardest and felt he would win, but it didn't turn out that way. He felt saddened by losing. That's all.

So in the biggest events you can't make the right choices, basically.

Yeah, mental fitness. That fight shouldn't have made it out of the 2nd.
