seriously! sarah never has a ****in clue what she's talking about... one of the worst posters in this forum without a doubt.
I agree he might be slighty overrated, but like i said before, It will hard for taylor to win, he just doesnt do enuff work sometimes in the later rounds and hes known for fading late, or at least that how i see it. However itll be an interresting fight, itll come down on how well Abraham do win the earlier rounds and how well Taylor do in the later rounds
Abraham will dominate Taylor. Simply too strong. AA will p[ush the action which JT wont like and when Taylors jabs and right hands are blocked easily he'll lose heart. AA TKOs Taylor in 10. Good win for AA.
It is possible that Sauerland pushed his cherry picking habit a step to far. Other than Miranda, who is a good high level gate keeper, every fighter on Abraham's record since 2005 is either a tomato can, an old guy, or a feather fisted prospect. Jermain Taylor doe not fit into any of those catagories. I'm 100% certain that Sauerland made this match solely on the basis of his belief that Jermain is ruined, and he may be in for a rude awakening. On the resume' level the other fighters in this tournament aren't qualified to wash Jermain's car. Jermain's last 9 fights came against recent, or current world titlists, and that includes two fights with an ATG, and a fight with a sure fire hall of fame inductee. I'm under no illusion that Taylor is the same fighter he was two years ago, but even a shot to **** JT is a huge step up for Abraham. This is one time when Abraham won't have the luxury of facing a Sebastian Demers, or an Elvin Ayala. The consensus opinion on JT might be correct. He might be ruined. However, if he has anything left, he should score a pretty clear decision. Jermain Taylor with half a tank of gas is better than any version of Abraham I've seen, and I've seen 7 of his fights.
So, does that mean Taylor will be a washed-up ex-chump who wouldn't be allowed to wash Pavliks spare hotrod only if he gets beat by Abraham ?
Well, it seemes like Taylor was on cruise control after Hopkins so maybe there is some truth to it, but he fought his heart out in the first Pavlik fight.
I like the fact that you wrote "last 9 fights" rather than wins, as I don't recall Taylor winning any of them on my scorecard.
AA showed no signs of weight drain in the Oral fight. After the Oral fight Sauerland told Boxing Scene AA would stay at 160 until he gets a Pavlik fight. Now AA is going to move up and fight 2 time Pavlik victim Jermain Taylor, a man who lost 3 of his last 4 fights. Respect my ass. At least Zuniga, Miranda, and Taylor fought KP before they left the division. Abraham is leaving without a fight, and the Taylor match is just more of Sauerlands cherry picking. I hope it backfires.
You didn't REALLY expect Hoo to write anything borderline sane or serious when it's about Pavlik or, let alone, Arbraaharrrm ? No ?
