Taylor won't get Andrade's respect unless he stabs him pre-fight like Juaquin Pheonix in Gladiator. Andrade really has an iron chin.

I don't know who wins...but Taylor is troubled by pressure and workrate, Andrade brings both in spades...not too mention he has enough pop to open Taylor's eyes up to it.

We agree to disagree then. I just don't see someone as limited as Andrade beating Taylor. Andrade who is B- at best doesn't bring anything other than a chin and decent workrate he'll need more than that to beat Taylor who is a solid B or B+. He won't outpoint Taylor to a win and he wouldn't stop him either.

Exactly. Taylor is, and always was, a FRAUD - an HBO-produced hype job, who wouldn't have "won," or kept, a title without GIFT DECISIONS. Not only that, he doesn't have the greatest whiskers.

Andrade knocks the hype job out late. :nod

Kid, I EARNED my Ph.D. I didn't get it on a gift, when I failed the oral exam. That's the difference between me and somebody like Taylor. He lost twice to Hopkins, lost to Wright, yet they gave him GIFTS. That STINKS. It's exactly what's wrong with boxing.

I co-sign this. I always believed in taylor. I hope his second fight against pavlik proved the doubters that he in fact can stay in the super middle and fight on to be competitve with anyone out there. I know alot of esb'ers on here completly wrote taylor off, some even saying he would just get knocked out by pavlik again and then get knocked out some more by other competition. He did very well in his second outing, and I think we will see a more confident and more conditioned taylor here in his upcoming fights. He's got his hometown behind him now like when he first started.

yeah but amsterdam seriously I remember a post you started before taylor-pavlik II where you were asking us if taylor should continue to get knocked out some more after he gets knocked out by pavlik again, or just retire to save himself the future embaressment. Taylor proved you wrong there bro so your argument here is losing clout. I believe in taylor and so do others. I know you get behind your predictions pretty feircly, but you got to give taylor props on his second outing with kelly even though he lost. He made it competitive with kelly, and will make other competitve fights with whoever at supermiddle. I see him beating bute (no way bute hits harder than kelly), bika, and andrade. I think he loses a spirited fight against mikkel though.

Oh and another point about ouma - in their fight all ouma was throwing was these little weak ass arm punches with the full intent of throwing taylor off. those punches had zero power - yet were fast enough to get to the target first very often. A fighter fighting a gameplan with that type of punch is going to lose to whoever. Ouma has a solid chin too btw - remember against 'made in hell'? he finished the fight despite getting knocked down. You cannot argue that roman has no power - he can hit. So taylor was'nt going to knock him out.

who cares what his ****ing work is? shitface..

Andrade could beat Taylor and anyone who can see what actually goes on in a fight knows that.. look at the tempo he fought, look at the workrate he gave, look at the punches he took, listen to the sound of those body punches he lands.. the fight was almost fought at an as fast tempo as was Calzaghe vs Kessler..

I know boxing and I know that Andrade is very crude he doesn't have what it takes to beat Taylor. Pressure is good but without a jab to work his way inside it will be ineffective against Taylor. In order to beat Taylor you need a jab and Andrade doesn't have one he's also a very sloppy guy that a boxer like Taylor would take advantage of. Like I said before he's not going to outbox Jermain and he's not going to KO him either. Andrade is simply to limited to exploit the flaws in Taylor's game but Taylor can exploit his.:deal
