This is pathetic, I know you are not suggesting that Andrade is a bigger or better puncher than Pavlik.
It is unknown how Taylor will react when fighting at 168lbs. People fail to realize that the guys at 168lbs are MUCH bigger then the guys at 160 lbs.
Taylor would dismantle Andrade. Andrade is very easy to hit and won't last long in boxing unless he changes something.
Not for a guy that has never been able to make the weight comfortable. Taylor has had a hard time making weight far the tie he turned pro.
Taylor steps into the ring well under 170lbs for all his fights except for his last fight with Pavlik. He was 166lbs against Hopkins and 168lbs in his first fight with Pavlik. Big super middleweights like Bute and Kessler step into the ring at 182-185lbs! Whole different ball game. I'm not saying he can't be competitve at 168lbs. I'm just saying that the fact he is the former undisputed 160lbs means little at 168lbs because the guys are much bigger at that weight. Hopefully he will fight a real 168lbs next so we can get an idea of where he belong at the weight. If he fights Trinidad we'll learn nothing.
It means we have no idea if Taylor will be able to be competitive against guys who are 10-15lbs bigger then he is.
The reason that taylor doesnt jump that high in weight is because he keeps himself in shape year round. unlike alot of fighters he doesnt allow his body to get up to 190 cuz he cant get the weight off. Another thing is Taylor fought most of his early fights over 160. So what your saying is that he never weighed more then 170 even when he weighted in at 165?? Doubtful and as i said I cant really remember his ring weight for his fights but I will check and see. My guess is that you wrong and Taylor has indeed come into the ring over 175 at least a few times.
Would be a damn interesting fight Can Taylor take Andrade's pressure for 12 rounds? will his stamina and chin hold? - if it does he wins - if not Andrade by (T)KO...
For all those hyping the **** out of the ordinary Andrade and saying he would beat the Olympic Medalist and former World Champion Jermain Taylor, are you also taking him over Steiglitz whom I've also seen you guys give much praise to?
