Santiago(Cotto's Trainer) says he takes his hat off for Pacquiao and what he has been able to accomplish. However, Team Cotto is slightly upset that everyone on HBO and boxing experts included are giving little to no chance for Cotto and this is motivating Cotto to train harder.

Santiago said even Mayweather is expecting Pacquiao to win but on November 14th, they will all be in for a shock.

Santiago said, he has heard about training problems for Pacquiao but believes its all been overhyped so he can buy into it but they are not taking that bait and expect Pacquiao to be 150% on November 14th but that Cotto power, strength and boxing skills will prevail.

I disagree, it's well documented that Pacquiao brought speed and power all the way up to 147lbs.

Explain him being bloated when he's got a bigger bone structure than Cotto himself.

I still think Cotto will TKO him late, but we'll see.. Pacquiao is going to be dangerous throughout with his blistering speed.

As soon as Cotto lands anything meaningfull its game over. If he can't hurt Pac (which i would be very supprised if he cant) then Pac wins a wide UD (He wont be able to knock Cotto out)
Pac has beat two weight drained fighters in his last two fights. I know Hatton has always fought at 140lbs but he had never in the past looked they way he did in the fight with Pacman.
Cotto is solid at the weight, defense is not brill but way better then Hatton, and can hit harder then perhaps anyone Pac has faced.

Take as much of the 7/4 on Cotto as you can possibly get!!!

If Cotto hit him with that sledging left hook like JMM did.

Oh man, as much as I love Pacquiao, I think Cotto could get him stretched out.

the tale of the tape on these two is almost dead even. the only real difference (by more than a couple inches) is pac's calves which is a big reason why he can generate so much power and why his power has seemed to carry well up the weight divisions unlike someone like marquez.

not only is the tale of the tape pretty much dead even but they both look great at that weight as well.

:patsch Why do many forget that Cotto could have stopped that fight after that nasty cut caused by that vicious headbutt but didnt and kept on fighting.

Not only that, but many think Clottley is an easy opponent, he is not....

Could Pacquiao defeat Clottley at 147? Nope...

:huh Nah....Cotto is DEFINITLEY bigger with the broader frame to support more weight naturally. PAC has just been able to acclimate to the higher weights b/c he's a gifted athlete with a **** load of talent that no one else enjoys but Floyd Mayweather.

The tale of the tape doesn't indicate who really has the "Frame" to carry the weight more natrually. You can just look at the width of each mans shoulders and build to see that there is no question Cotto is naturally the bigger man. But you're right about the calves.

I agree! But I think PAC can beat Cotto. I think physical demensions at the higher weights will be bigger problems for PAC than skills at the moment. I think a harder fight for PAC would be Josh at 147 than Floyd or Cotto.

I'm not drinking the Pac Kool Aid based on his wins at 140 and 147, I just have this feeling, that the pace will be too much for Pac (provided he can avoid getting knocked out). I haven't really made up my mind, but I'm still leaning towards Pacquiao in a late TKO on cuts. Something significant has opened up on Cotto's face in most of his last five fights.

So if Cotto wins... it would be meaningless since it was against a bloated 126 lb fighter? And if he loses it would be even worse since he lost to a small man?

These kind of comments are terrible.
