    So it's all about making the most money here not finally stepping up and fighting the best? GGG is 33 and has a **** resume he hasn't proven himself against an elite fighter he has taken no risks. Ward is a risk if he dares to be great and is as confident as his fans he would step up and make the fight just like Ward said in that interview.

    Loma dared to be great facing Salido in his second fight and Russell later so did Kovalev by facing Hopkins and Pascal. The same can't be said about GGG who at 33 going on 34 has never stepped out of his comfort zone. There should be nothing but air preventing this fight from happening yet GGG and his fans hide behind the draw excuse as if GGG is some accomplished fighter who has proven himself against elite comp. This **** is hilarious and pathetic at the same time.:rofl

    You've contradicted yourself. GGG-Ward does numbers, absolutely. It does numbers because GGG is fighting though, not because Ward is there.

    Hell, I'd like to see the fight. We're all over Canelo and Cotto fighting against GGG because he's in their weight class. Or, so they belt they're fighting over is anyway. Whereas Ward didn't even fight at SMW last time around. Do you personally see his future at SMW? Or do you perhaps think seeing as he is so clearly ahead of everyone else in that division that he should maybe move up?

    How the f*ck can Ward be high reward when no one tunes in to watch his fights ? I saw some dumbasses members saying GGG would become a huge PPV star if he were to beat Ward, how can that happen when Ward is unknown to most casuals and he's not even a PPV star himself ?

    :lol::rofl:lol:
    You don't want him to lose just say it. It's okay! You know damn well that Ward will give him a boxing lesson. Running? :rofl Ward fights mostly on the inside although he can fight at all ranges. You guys are too much. If GGG went up and faced Ward and won he would be on top of the sport and it would do wonders for him and if he lost so what? He lost to a better fighter at a higher weight he could then come back down to 160 where people would be more willing to face him. You guys just don't want Ward to derail you're triple G express I get it but it's bad for boxing especially when considering he hasn't fought anyone of note.

    I haven't contradicted anything.

    You've contradicted yourself you'd be all over JCC Jr fight and he wasn't in GGG's weightclass on top of that he had no title and did nothing at 168.

    I have no problem with Ward moving up to face Kovalev at 175 and there's already talks of that happening next year if a GGG fight can't be made. I want the GGG fight because Ward will probably move up and if he does the fight will never happen.

    there is way too much money to be made at the moment and ward will be not be seeing any of it , as much as i disagree with the way boxing is ran we all have to except that boxing is a business now , as good as he is , wards ring absence and boring style and very small fanbase will keep him at the back of the queue for quite a while im afraid .

    Is Rigo a reward? You saying no one watching his fights as if that somehow makes a win over him meaningless? Guys like Ward and Rigo are two of the best fighter's in the sport today and it's criminal the way they're being frozen out here. A win over Ward would give extreme credibility to GGG as a fighter as well as a big payday period.:deal

    You're mixing up things here, everyone knows that victory over Ward would give GGG great prestige, but is that all that fighters want? Do you really think he'll move up to fight a guy who'll bring him the same financially as the guys he's fighting at MW. I doubt it. Really, that's all there is to it.

    If you want to pull out the hypocrite card, I'll accept it but I'll explain why I think this is different.

    It'd be fun to watch, but it wouldn't be a fight I think he should go for. Certainly not now JCC Jr has somehow begun to look even worse in the ring.

    We'll agree to disagree. I see sense in the comments they've said and believe them.

    Woah, when did ppv numbers and money become a valid reason to hold off a fight? Isn't it still called a duck if someone else does it like Cotto?

    I think the difference is that here, these fighters aren't in the same weight class. When this type of thing occurs between fighters in the same division who should fight each other, then I'd agree but this is not the same case.

    Agreed. Ward is not even remotely involved in any priority of Golovkin's right now (unification + ppv fight) so Ward is, as of now, no interest to him. That's not a duck in any way, shape, or form.
