And Golovkin always says he loves old school. Reason why he wants to become the undisputed champion before anything else.

Sorry, but Ward is B side right now. I don't care how boxing aficionados rank him, he simply will not put enough butts in seats to warrant a big PPV right now. He's been out of the ring too long to entice the casuals that make up a big PPV. Period. Full stop. End of sentence.

Strictly in a business sense, GGG makes more money, AND unifies the MW title, by fighting the winner of Cotto-Canelo. THEN maybe we can talk GGG-Ward. And only then.

Anyway, how about GGG-Mayweather for Floyds #50? Lol just kidding Floyd won't (and probably shouldn't ) get in with GGG...no need to take the risk of fight a much bigger guy.

Thats totally understandable but at the same time those same reporters should be taking a boot to ggg for calling out mayweather, a fight who is alot smaller.

    What situation?!? Ward's mental health?

The man overvalues his own stock so much, there's no words for it. E-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y can now agree he's B-side to Golovkin, by quite a bit. His name or old P4P ranking doesn't matter one bit, all that matters to people who make fights happen is how much cash he brings in. Ratings and gate, that's it.

Froch? Was A-side to GGG, fight would have been in the UK with Froch getting the lion's share. Documented.

Chavez Jr? Is A-side to GGG, fight would be anywhere Junior wants it and he'd take a big payday. Documented.

Ward? Is B-side to GGG, but doesn't want to know. Self-entitlement gauge is in the dark red. Also documented.

Ward-GGG needs to be PPV, for the simple reason that Ward will demand a whole lot more than 2M (Rodriguez, Smith) which means the A-side, Golovkin, would get a fukkload more than 2M. Only solution is PPV, and it needs to sell. Ward's name is nowhere near where it was in 2012. Noooowhere.

Ward should take a page of Dawson's book.

Oh, you're the champ one class below mine?
Oh, you bring in more cash than I do?
Oh, I haven't made that weight in fukkin forever?

    Let's do it then.

When did GGG ever call out Mayweather?

Reporters ask GGG about Floyd, GGG answers.

Max asks GGG who he wants to call out, GGG calls out Cotto, Canelo and Quillin.

    Big difference.

Ward could retire tomorrow and nobody would miss him.

He is the "B-Side" for now.

Ok, so he's achieved a lot. So what? He has been out for ages and is fighting the likes of Paul Smith! Plus, he doesn't have a fan-friendly style, nor is he a big ticket-seller.

Golovkin is most definitely the "A-Side" right now. He's the hottest ticket in the game right now.

  8. Remember in 2013 when Ward essentially ruled out fight's with Golovkin, Kovalev, Stevenson & Hopkins? Now one of these men has done the same to him! You're all up in arms... You Ward fans make me laugh!

MW & then SMW... Sounds sensible to me.

  9. At least Lemieux's fighting Golovkin & not Paul Smith..

You wouldn't others would. You can't just throw blanket statements out there like that to suit your agenda. The fact is Ward is one of the best fighters in the sport today is tested and is still active. The fact that you don't like him probably because he's beaten or you think he beats guys you like is irrelevant.

GGG has never called out floyd? Really?

Thats just something that reporters bring up? Come on man.

I'll play your game... if reporters are asking, why does he and his team humor it? Why doesnt he say floyd is too small for him?

    There isnt a difference.

GGG would jump all over the fight with the smaller man, that why he wants cotto and canelo. I dont believe that unifying **** one bit. Its a fight against smaller guys that he is heavily favored to win. But i dont think he gets either. Cotto is not going to fight him and de la hoya says canelo would "consider" fighting ggg. Which really means no we are not gonna fight him but we cant just say that to the media. The lemeiux fight will most likely the biggest fight he gets at this weight.

Ward's resume is levels ahead over anyone Lemieux has fought. Not to mention losses to Rubio and Alcine lol. Lemieux is FINALLY fighting a name. And he will get blitzed.

At least Ward's resume is 100 light years better than GGG and he's fought guys of note like Froch Kessler and Dawson and not guys like Adama Monore Jr and Macklin:lol: Now's who's laughing troll?:hi:

    :deal

I couldn't agree more. Cotto won't fight him and Canelo won't atleast for a few more years.
