Don't you think the issue about the midnight re-writing of the contract and taking the small penalty instead of losing the weight like all boxers are supposed to do, had something to do with the negative press?

    It isn't!!

Manny is in charge of his own camp.

He is just covering all the bases!!

If he does insist of such a clause, I will lose respect for him.

This is fakking BS if it is true. If you can't take the 147, just go back down to 140 and ask somebody else, greatly JMM.

Pac should just give up with WW. Just fight at 140 and there's better competition for him there, including a possible trilogy with his biggest rival Marquez.

No it doesnt, because he didnt up hold his end of the agreement, but i made that reference because the other poster commented on someone calling manny the catchweight king by saying people are going to far, manny only did the catchweight thing one time. But then can turn around and label floyd a "CHEATER" yet floyd didnt make weight only one time.

And I honestly dont think floyd had it in his mind that he needed to cheat against JMM. he probably honestly couldnt make weight.

But to answer your question again, I dont condone floyd not making the weight but he should be labeled a cheater... just like if manny did catchweight only one time, he shouldnt be labeled the CW king. But if he is in the WW, he needs to let the catch weight go...

Lmao, you're referring to my post. You do realize i didn't reference Floyd at all. The cheater thing is by you. There's no mention of cheater except by you.

as soon I started gaining some respect for Pac here we go again with this ****....
First he agrees to random blood testing....Then he says not within 30 days
Then he agrees to 147 Welter....Now he changes it to 145. Ridiculous, no comparision to Duran at all.

    :good

It would be brilliant if he did, but you could not blame him for agreeing.

Pacquiao is the "Big pay-day" and if Clottey refused to adhere to any "weigh in" clause then Manny would simply find himself another opponent.

I personally hope that this is all BS, but as he asked for such a clause against Cotto (Some nerve, considering Cotto was the champ!!) then it is possible that such a clause may become part of negotiations.

I have never believed that Manny has used peds, but one of his reasons for refusing to Mayweather's Olympic-style testing was that as the champion he was not going to allow the challenger to dictate terms!! Such a stance does lose it's principle when you consider his weight clause demand when he fought Cotto!

P.S I still think he is clean!!:).
