The last pounds are the hardest by all accounts I have read. Had Floyd had to lose them, they would have made a difference. In the outcome? Probably not, but there was a reason for that catch weight. An attempt to at least give the APPEARANCE of a fair fight.

He had to know at least two or three days in advance of weigh in he wasn't going to make it I'd think.
dont be a douche.. you know that is a different sitiuation.. in the Mayweather case that was a guy who regulary comes in at 147 not dehydrating and coming in at a comfortable weight. in the Clottey case (if its true, which I don't think it is) would be a guy who struggles to make 147 having to shed 2 more lbs than hes comfortable doing..
