Teddy is such a wanna be tough guy and a coward despite the fact that Tyson was a prime physical specimen and very mature at a young age doesn't mean he's still not a sixteen year old kid. A grown man bragging about putting a gun to a teenagers head? Awesome
Didn't Teddy also take a gun to Donny LaLonde's house/apartment after DL fired him, only to find no one home? Dude is straight mental.
Tyson was a beast at 16 and was growing into an even bigger beast. I see nothing wrong with breaking out a strong deterrent. All in all, Tyson went on to be convicted of **** and have several allegation of sexual misconduct against him, but none of the victims were members of Teddy's family. As a guy honest enough to admit a 16 year old Tyson would beat the **** out of any version of me, and an uncle, I'm fine with this.....if it ever actually happened.
This. Say whatever you want about Atlas, that he's an idiot or whatever, but in this instance he was protecting his family and he wasn't too far off the mark as Tyson went on to be convicted of **** etc.
If he had to pull a gun on a 16 pound behemoth, he had to do it. Still, I'd be a little ashamed to admit it. Even worse is him selling the story as him being some sort of tough guy because of it.

amen to this. Last year when Graham Bensinger interviewed Mike, he brought up the subject of Atlas always criticising Mike & talking bad about him. Mikes answer; "Graham, can I tell you something? Teddy Atlas says all this stuff, but not once has he ever had the courage to say it to me, nose to nose. Why? Because teddy atlas knows precisely what would transpire should he actually say that **** to my face"...
Kevin Roony and others say that Teddy was a jealous insecure wannabe tough guy. All he ever does is turn on people he uses to get ahead, the man had the audacity to try to allude that Cus was a child molestor. He then tries to claim he invented the number combo system. He always lies and says he was Tyson's trainer, no he wasn't Cus and Kevin were. He loves to threaten people about how he is gonna get his mob connected family to kill them or beat them up, he did this to Tyson and people at a restaurant (captured on youtube). He talks about character then dedicates his book to his dead heroin dealer friend. I believe he also tried to get one heroin dealing associate out of jail using his "star" status. Teddy atlas is a piece of **** low life human being. The fact that he brags about pulling a gun on a 16 year old boy cements that.
