Ten Greatest fights 2000-2008

Katsidis-Amonsot is probably the second best fight of 2007.While 2007 was a great year for boxing because it had so many big fights it didn't have as many GREAT fights as other years.

 

because its not on theyre level,it was a good fight but it wasnt a great fight.Cotto dominated the first half of the fight and Margo the second it didnt have the give and take like the other great fights have.

 

Arce vs Hussein was awesome
Diaz vs Morales
Gatti vs Damgaard

 

Arce-Hussein should probably be on that list as should the Ward-Burton fight.

 

Diaz vs Morales and Gatti vs Damgaard are some way from being on the list.Arce-Hussein is one of a host of fights that could be on the list.Adamek-Briggs 1 is another great fight from 2005.

Erik Morales-Marco Antonio Barrera I (2000) is the greatest fight ever regardless of weight class.

Also... Gatti-Ward I is way overrated except for rd 9 which was legendary.

 

hatton - tszyu was a better fight than cotto - margarito .

 

Ward-Gatti 1 was easily better than Morales-Barrera 1

 

Corrales-Castillo 1 is the most overrated fight this decade.

 

If your going to make a statement like that at least give a reason.

 

These lists are void without Lennox-Vitali and Brewster-Sergei. When bombs are dropped at the highest level, nothing comes close.
