Crawford is not overrated at all, he easily defeated his main rival in the division and would do the same to the others...

Can't disagree with any of this...

I can see why this threads getting pushback though when the OP is inconsistent enough to bash Crawford for a so-so resume yet picks Davis to beat him when he has comparatively no resume whatsoever...
And who knocks Crawford for his better wins being aged or in poor condition, yet hypes Wilder to the moon when his best wins are against a washed up never-was, and the rest are typically third rate at best.

It's no wonder it looks trollish in context, even if the underlying point is certainly defensible.

    What about it? Nothing there.

What about Spences relationship w Derrick James and Charlo bros? Skipping drug tests...

Because how good the opponent is has a very significant effect on how easy it is to look good yourself.

If your opponents are second rate and you're never under any real pressure, it's very difficult (if not impossible) to know how far you're going to go.

That's why you can't just claim to be at the top of your division, you have to step up and prove it - not just sit on a 0, hiding from the best fights and claiming you're unbeatable because third raters haven't managed it.

I don't think Crawford is overrated, rather he is overskilled and overpowering for 147. Staying there wont do anything we haven't already seen. He should move up to 154 where he will undoubtedly get much better competition that'll neutralize the power advantage he had and give him some tough fights. If he can excel well there, I think we can argue Crawford is as great as he is made out to be. Until then though I would think its more fair to say he is untested rather than overrated.

Amazing. Untested. After unifiying not only one division, but two. And he's already untested.... Amazing.

Crawford is so overrated that you guys can't name a single guy, in the divisions he has fought at, who would win to him. That's how overrated he is. You probably would start mentioning Usyk.

    Ridiculous.

Lomachenko cannot even trounce Teo López, let alone a bigger, smarter, harder hitter, more experienced and more skilled Crawford.

He received the first punch from Teo, and he spent the next 8 rounds running. At crawford's first punch a "magic" elbow injury would happen 100% sure, so that his fanboys can continue hugging his nuts without feeling too much shame.

    Ridiculous.

That nobody has been good enough to test him while he's unified 2 divisions and logged 40-0 is hardly something he can be marked down for.
