How does the early version of Bud deal with the current version of Shakur who beat Zepeda? Would have been pretty interesting to see how their styles meshed although something tells me it wouldn’t have been fun.

I think Bud stops him early tbh. Shakur got hit alot against Zepeda and Bud has a killer instinct yet we are to believe this guy is a defensive wizard like Toney, Floyd and Locche

Any version of Crawford is a crazy step up in standard from Zepeda, and Zepeda is a good fighter still but Crawford is the P4P top 3 for a reason.

Why do you want pain inflicted on Shakur?

Shakur would get hit with a counter shot and get stopped. Shakur doesn't change head slots while punching. His head stays on the centerline. If you don't move your head against Crawford, he will make you pay for that.

Crawford would treat Shakir’s head like a piñata. Easy money for Crawdad. Possible murder.

Bud who dominated and became undisputed at 140 against last Saturday's Shakur would have been pretty interesting although my head says that Bud would have found ways to take away Shakur's jab and use his better offense to win.

Great fight but i lean towards crawford. His reach would be the difference in this fight.

Now everyone will say Bud easy.

If it was Bud when he was at 135, and Shakur today, all the Shakur fan girls would say “Bud got clipped by Gamboa no way he can handle Shakur.”

Typical recency bias schtick would prevail.

    No one will admit this.

    I’d take Bud though.

Bud offensive abilities and viciousness is were crazy at 140 to 147. I do think Shakur was the better lightweight tho. Great competitive fight.

I think Shakur's style of relying on moving back in straight lines to get out of range would be problematic against Crawford because he has a 6 inch reach advantage and knows how to use it. I could see Shakur getting caught at the end of Crawford's punches. I think it's a bad style matchup for Shakur.

i think shakur beats him at 135. bud was not as strong there due to weight cuts. shakur would absolutely dominate all the guys bud fought there. the higher in weight you go the more it tilts away from shakur.
