Terry Norris vs. Fernando Vargas

Can go either way by stoppage for me, i'll take Norris.

Norris via late TKO. Too fast, and powerful for Nando at his best. Norris was brilliant at his best.

 

I voted Norris by dec by mistake, meant ko/tko. I would look for a similar type fight as Vargas had with Mosley. I believe Norris would get hit less than Shane, and in my opinion stronger than Mosley at 154.

 

Whilst I have no hesitations about picking Terry, I think Vargas at his best is a live chance.

If Waters and Brown could drag Norris into their fight..then I think Fernando could quite possibly do the same.
I dont think a pre-Tito Vargas would be easy pickings for Terry...At best I think Norris knocks him out in the mid rounds after a relatively competitive start.
At worst..well we have seen what happens at Terry's worst.

 

Vargas would need a ko in round 9 or 10 and would get it. Terry was a complete fighter but had one of the weakest chins I've ever seen in an elite champion and also, a propensity for carelessness.

 

Vargas stops him late in the fight.

Norris' chin was his downfall.

 

I pick Terry by comfortable UD or late round TKO.

 

Terry Norris would knock the **** out of Vargas. Vargas, though he was a good champion, he was never great and never had half the skills Norris had. Vargas is actually over rated.
