Lets hope we never see the likes of him again. Good riddance! Shame he's remaining as a judge...

It isn't even long ago however during the aforementioned Fury Mcdermott first fight that he was both referee and single judge. I'm glad boxing has moved on from that format and era.

How about being remembered for not disqualifying Kovalev for hitting Cleverly on the floor!

Haha that was actually hilarious . Cleverly must look back and think, "cheers mate for helping me go back out for another round and take a pasting!"

Missing Liam Smith headbutting Liam Williams was a personal favourite Terry O'Connor moment. Almost put my TV through after that. (On a sidenote glad to see Williams box so well last night).

Doesn't sit right with me seeing a referee in such bad condition as well. Wouldn't harm him to hit the treadmill a few times a week.

Mate, well called out there. All the drama from both cards obviously deflects from that scorecard from Ian John Lewis. Walsh completely bossed that fight from start to finish, Bellotti had no answer, yet IJL gave a 116-113. Absolutely shocking scorecard that. He’s incompetent.

As for O’Connor. Glad he’s done now. Even last night, take a point off Buatsi ffs and let Quinlan come to his senses instead of dragging him back up to his feet. Appalling.

Looking at it there I don't think Buatsi did much wrong to be honest.

Terry could have gave Quinlan some recovery time however why finish your career doing a good deed after so many wrongs?

I don't think I can ever remember a more "incompetent" (I think the word incompetent is being kind to them) set of officials on any card than the Matchroom card last night.

The Belloti scorecard, Little TKO, Buatsi ref and the Whyte ref were unbelievably incompetent enough to either ruin the fight or compeletelly sour the result. I was always going to watch the Frampton fight but started by watching the Matchroom card but gave up after the Bellotti and Price fights. That's just not sport to me. Watched the Buatsi and Whyte fight today.

It's not a surprise Hearn wants to do head to head shows as it dilutes the controversy over his cards becoming almost as scripted as the WWE.

I'd imagine when the Fury mob were less well known and not under the microscope giving Tyson the win could have been in Terry's best interests. Tyson was a top prospect and a loss at the stage could have seriously derailed his career. I also remember an interview with Peter (a few years ago) criticising O'Connor. Definitely more to this whole incident.
