:blood That is quite an indictment.

    Do you really mean that?

You can say his record was among the shallowest of any world title holder in history and that could maybe hold water (and you could say his abilities or accomplishments were extremely disproportionate to him technically being immortalized on that list of champs to retire undefeated - same as Ottke's and Valero's - or even to his later outside-the-ring fame on account of the whole shooting incident), but among the worst champs of all time? Meaning you ascribe to him no h2h value whatsoever? There have been some downright awful & flukey paper champs throughout history.

He actually changed his name to none of the above by deed poll. He is a successful stockbroker who is also studying a PHD. His wife is a successful stokebrooker too

He should branch out into boxing, maybe lend his name and financial backing to Hearns' operation, and put the screws to Queensberry Promotions. :yep

    Best served cold.

just finished reading his autobiography "undefeated" was a good read. had a very good amateur career before turning pro. The epilepsy thing that ended his career wasn't straight forward and he was robbed of potentially his biggest pay days. seems a really decent bloke

I remember him. He was the guy that was accused of shooting his manager Frank ****** but was found not guilty. That case still remains open?
