Even if they did come in here it would only be them trying to build a strawman argument to get away from the actual point.
:happy for this thread. it seems pretty clear that team pac wants this fight but there was no way they would be able to come up with a decent plan by march 13. they need more time to prepare and they know it. They're hoping and praying mosley beats floyd though so they never have to run into him.
Before the end of his career, DLH's face probably got the most busted up against Gonzalez. His left eye was pretty bad. This content is protected This content is protected
y'all think you've exposed a big lie but its nothing. Roach always speaks his mind. Roach said those things about Pac's opponent but he also says Pac is the best fighter in the world. Do you not get that? He isn't the type to make up bull**** to make Pac look good or bad, he is the type to speak the truth as he sees it, or he would not have said those things about Pac's opponents. Roach says Oscar was drained, but Roach has also said PAc would beat him anyways. Roach also said that when he was training Oscar, he didn't know how to cut off the ring, that was before the Floyd fight. Roach says "we don't know what Cotto has left in him" but he also says Pac is a complete fighter and would beat Floyd. That bull**** reasoning that "of course Roach says PAc would beat Floyd" doesn't work because Roach has showed that he will say whats on his mind wether its good for Pac or not.
No *****.. this just proves Pac and his team are cherry picking big name fighters on the decline or that are damaged to create an illusion that he is the best. Period. This shows their method of choosing opponents.. kind of like picking Clottey after not being active and with no trainer and sub par training conditions. Its just ***** ass conduct from ***** ass individuals. Like yourself.
Phenomenal thread! This was a poor excuse for journalism. Merchant might as well have been wearing a Pacquiao t-shirt. No joke. Exactly.
pacquiao is the best hater!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!manny many manny.....so what ...i'd suck his dick yer
Mayweather would absolutely school Pacquiao. Roach and Pacquiao know this, so they don't want to take the fight. I am a fan of boxing full stop, and call bull**** when I see it. The excuses from Pacquiao's camp have been feeble and inconsistent.
well I just finished watching the 1st vid (I blame my slow ass net provider) and there's nothing really new in it. Oscar's condition during his fight with Pac has been dissected over and over here in the forums and the general consensus is that it wasn't a very good win resume wise since that clearly wasn't the oscar of old. but I don't really see what's wrong with that fight, it represented a chance for Pac to become a superstar in the sport. Pac would be an idiot if he didnt take the fight for the amount of money and fame it could get him. For the Hatton fight, again, is there anyone actually complaining about that fight being made? It was a good match up. Right after the Oscar fight a lot of people wanted Pac to fight Hatton, it was a high profile fight, lots of money to be made fighting against an opponent that many thought would give Pac a hard time. Does anyone actually believe that the Hatton that fought Mayweather or Tszyu would win against Pac? For the Cotto fight, it's no secret that the big question was how much Margarito took away from him. A lot of people thought Cotto still had what it in him other thought he didn't. Does Pacquiao's dominant win over Cotto conclusively answer the question of how much Margo took away from Cotto? Hardly. The fact is, Cotto looked really sharp at the start of the fight and was very competitive against Pac all up till he got seriously hurt in the 4th round. After that, he wasn't the same fighter. Is this because of Margo or because Pac caught Cotto with a short, hard left uppercut that Cotto didn't see coming? Sure it's debatable how much Cotto had left in him coming into the fight but it it doesn't change the fact that it was a good fight and that a lot of people wanted it to get made. As for Pac "ducking" Mosley. Well, before the Cotto fight, none of us knew how well Pac would perform against a tough Welter. Team Pacquiao probably didn't know as well. I don't really consider it as Pac ducking Mosley since Pac's still more of a natural junior welterweight. Back then, most people thought Mosley at 147 would be too much for Pac because no one knew if Pac could take a punch from a top Welterweight. And since Mosley's pretty big for a welter (bigger than Cotto I think), a catchweight would have really hurt Mosley. And I didn't want to see another OLDH-like fight. Cotto at 145 was the smarter choice definitely, but that doesn't change the fact that it was a good exciting fight. Now for the video's whole tirade about Pac fighting bigger guys and then showing his fight night weight against Marquez, Barrera, Morales. That's really reaching. Pac fighting bigger guys is a remark made in reference to him fighting Diaz, OLDH, Hatton and Cotto. Now granted, Pac was heavier than Oscar, but that wasn't really Pac's fault now was it? That's more on Oscar's camp. All those rehydration clause theories sound like bull**** to me anyway. In the end, I don't really see why people would criticize Pac's resume. Almost all his fights were good fights, almost all his fights were fights that people wanted to see. Granted, he often chose the high reward fights, but you have to admit, all those fights were high risk. Look, Roach thought Oscar couldn't pull the trigger anymore and the fight showed Roach was right. But what if Roach was wrong? Roach thought that Mayweather took away something from Hatton. What if Roach was wrong? Roach thought that Margo took away something from Cotto. What if Roach was wrong? Just because Roach thought it doesn't mean it's true. The fact that other top trainers didn't agree with roach when making their predictions shows that all of Roach's statements are just his opinions. It doesn't mean that Roach is privy to some super secret information regarding Pac's opponents that no other person in boxing knows. There's nothing to expose. Roach had his opinions about fighters, opinions that could have been wrong as easily as they could have been right given how unpredictable boxing is.
BUMP due to new threads with people still thinking pac is the one who ran from this fight. There is no way any pac fan can say otherwise if they could only wipe the tears from their eyes and actually watch the videos.
