    ...but hey, what am I really complaining about - they're coming through in the clutch after Ch7 flaked out.

    I mean, it would've been nice to see Thaiyen, but whatever - most of us are still getting what all of us stayed up this late for.

    Oh, if anybody didn't realize - Randy Caballero is Nicaraguan-American. (hence Ch4's interest, showing his fight on Friday night live, and showing a replay of his vacant IBF title win here as the lead-in to Buitrago)

    I've seen people mistakenly assume he's Mexican. He isn't.

    ...as much as I dislike the mismatches on UK and US tv...the Thai stuff is worse...this type of card makes bouts like Garcia Vs Salka look okay [yeah the main event here is great but the rest of the card...nah]

    Yeah. Once in a while they'll import a bunch of tough Filipino journeymen and have a somewhat balanced card in terms of parity, but usually they're complete squashes outside the ME.

    TBF they have some great main events, the Zoda Vs Petchchorhae rematch (was expected to be good but was better than expected and the Higa Vs Kongfah bout (lived up to expectation), this weeks two main events-and their first runs, Koki Eto's two "world" title bouts in the country etc...but even then a lot of the main events are **** too (why I gave up getting up early to watch them)

    Don't need to pay for "names" just guys with some ambition. No more Sammy Hagler's (tough survivor but no ambition) and more Higa's, Zoda's, Alimento's, Autida's etc. Who come to win. These regular Indonesian visitors tend to come knowing that that their best bet is to try fighting for a couple of rounds then playing a game of survival.

    And I'll admit I'm hugely disappointed in what Espinos Sabu has become!
