next thread would be darryl blaming team pac if berto rematches hernandez because team pac didn't chose berto.
and please peewee marquez stop doing the nestea plunge [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rqRx__HI9c[/ame]
Regardless of how many smilies you use, you know Putiao fears Marquez and will use any excuse(money, weight, Not big enough draw, etc) to avoid any future confrontation with him. Maybe when JMM is closer to 40 and looks shot like Mosley:deal
These are NATURAL WW's, who have all fought at the 154 lb limit, as well. Why should he do that? Pac makes sense, because they are about the same size, he had not one, but, TWO razor thin fights with Pac. And Pac, skill-wise, has not changed that much since their second fight.
Putting someone on the canvas and winning a fight, convincingly, are two very different things. It's a boxing match, not a backyard brawl. He put JMM on the canvas 4x total and JMM still won the majority of the rounds. JMM has just as much of a chance of outboxing Pac, as Pac does of putting him on the canvas. Who do you think has the most to lose if either happens?
JMM -PBF = 1M PPV MOsley-PBF = 1.4M Who was the better draw?? American fans doesnt care much about Marquez. BUt Blacks & whites in my neigborhood were hype with Pac-Mosley!! With or without Mexicans for Pac to KO, The Mexicans will still tune in!!
I understand that man and good point, but there wasn't much history and ways to promote the Mayweather/Marquez fight. Mosley was the welterweight king and the fighter Floyd so called ducked for a while and it was the two best Americans fighting and supposedly the best fighter Floyd has foughten yet. Pacquiao can't sell it like that, he has the black american card he can pull since everybody says he's avoiding them, but I think they can sell the Berto fight more than this one, but I doubt it'll sell more though.
Most of those were close rounds and claiming JMM winning most of those rounds were very questionable... While NO ONE can question when PAC put JMM's ass on the canvass and it's a 2 points differential everytime JMM's ass kissed the canvass. Boxing is knocking out, knocking down, and outpointing opponents... Also try not to get hit...
What hurts more, Tasting the Canvas for a brief second, or eating Counters all night long to the face???? You decide.. Watch both fights, Pac hates the counter shots, you can see his face cringe each time a hard one is connected... Someone should make a video to demonstrate this. I suck, but one day I shall try...lol there are so many where manny looks surprised and the facial expressions are priceless.
Marquez fighting tailor made dudes for him (twice) like Diaz, then Kats and now a ridiculously shot fighter in Morales and it's Pac's fault. There are other fights out there, at 140. He just wants Pac for the payday since he knows he's gonna get brutalized, but won't take the risk of fighting someone else good that won't make him a huge amount of money (cause we all know that's why he fought Floyd, not bravery). So now he fights a beyond shot, past his best weight guy in Morales, with better options out there.
More ringside observers, boxing pundits, boxing press, etc. have more rounds for JMM. I'm not sure how questionable it really is. My point is JMM can be KD...nothing new there. But, he can, potentially, outbox Pac, as well. He has already demonstrated that on two occasions. A close fight with JMM (or a loss), now, would not bode well for Manny's career, going forward. They won't risk it. He would have to stop JMM, in order to make it an easy night. And JMM has never been stopped. If Manny doesn't stop him, JMM has a great chance of exposing flaws in Manny that we haven't seen since their last fight. So, it's a risky fight, and Manny will have no excuses for not dominating him, since he is a 'much more improved' fighter now. Not to mention, Manny is bigger, stronger, younger, and faster. It will be tough to justify to anyone but a hardcore fan (who understands styles make fights) a competitive fight, for Manny, with an aging LW, moving up in weight, who a million or so people saw Floyd dominate.
