How many rounds do you think Rigo won 'clearly' and obviously. Seriously. There was not more then maybe couple rounds that he very clearly won. Every other round was super tight - basically because both guys weren't throwing anything, so you have like 2-3 punches to measure between both guys. That's a not schooling dude. Schooling is taking most of the rounds , winning them clearly and making your opponent look dumb in the process. See Hopkins - Pavlik. This wasnt that.
atsch Is it that you are so ultra bias that has you blinded or you just really do not fully grasp the sport? Donaire was lost and had no clue on how to land his shot and avoid getting nailed. He was clearly frustrate. Go back, watch the fight.
Go watch Calzaghe-Lacy and then tell me that Donaire lost that bad. It was still a competitive fight, albeit a boring one.
I just explained why it doesnt matter. Even if I have Rigo 10-2 , the majority of those were all close rounds , so thats not a schooling. And if you read my first post I gave Donaire 3 or so of the earlier rounds , the rest of them aside from the late rounds I could care less to score because neither guy was doing ****.
Nothing boring, there was so much going on with their feints and foot placement, a chess game. And as soon as one made a small mistake the other would try to land within that small window of opportunity. It was competitive, in that Rigo was not winning all those rounds just because Donaire let him. Naw, Rigo had to work, move, throw, counter, defend and think quick. So yeaqh he had to work but still won most of the rounds. Who care about other fights! This fight was a schooling Donaire was clearly lost and was fighting like he was the one with 11 or so fights.
