You can see Wilder dancing right before the camera zooms on Tyson on the ground. I can't imagine how demoralizing it would be to think the fight is over, only to see your opponent jump up and start coming at you and winning the second half of the fight. What a moment! lol
I said the same thing when he got up. Maybe its just not coming to me right now, but I genuinely cant think of a similar feat. A 6ft 9'', 250lb guy whose been pushing the pace for 12 rounds, gets dropped for the second time, in the 12th round, with a two punch piece, flat backed and flatlined, I thought it was over.... and.... he.... gets up. Its unbelievable to me.
Told you all The man is a gypo from Manchester England. A man born and bred to fight for over 200 years. It's in his dna
When his head bounced off the canvas I figure that was that. It was absolutely amazing that he got up, but at that point in the fight it did not surprise me. His will was titanium.
Getting back up on the first round is not the same as getting back up on the 12th round. Try fighting for 12 rounds and getting knock down. You shouldnt even be able to stand normal without huffin and puffin by then not including the knockdown. That was some out of this realm shiet. Nothing compares.
I agree with you its just the point aboht travellers. Casey was taking sickening massive punchers that would leave a fighter comatose and just kept getting back up
