People say that when a fighter fails to perform at their perceived level. Question is did Fulton under perform or was it simply the case that Fulton was never as good as those people perceived.

I personally think it was the latter. Inoue was always the better fighter and more importantly the better boxer. Fulton's good but he was never on Inoue's level and never had the tools to win.

Called it. Getting slumped in the corner is the worst way to go.

It was a demolition though. Fulton didn't win 30 seconds of any round and then got knocked out.

It was a total one sided fight.

Boxers are always first to say this they never want to say they were beaten by a better boxer.

Fulton's a proven and elite fighter. Inoue's just generational.

Fulton was off because of the man standing across from him. Not because he didn't show up. Thats what you look like when you have absolutely no answers for what's coming at you. Fulton is a good fighter and I'm a fan. He just was up against a great fighter and great fighters make all others look average and clueless at times. I don't think it was a one-sided beating it was just a dominant victory for Inoue.

    "dominant""complete domination"

Inoue was dominant in the fight but it wasn't a complete domination. A complete domination is essentially a beat down or winning every second of every round, never getting hit clean, just pummeling a dude round after round, etc. He was winning rounds, controlling the fight, out working Fulton but it wasn't a complete domination.

i agree a complete domination to me is like Fury/Wilder 2

inoue was certainly levels above Fulton, won every round but maybe one in my book. Did get hit clean a few times but otherwise a very clean performance by the man.

You said dominate then turn right around and say not complete dominate. That is like saying a little pregnant.

No, I said "And some people are overrating Inoue calling it a complete domination" you said it wasn't dominant? I wasn't saying it was or wasn't dominant, I was pointing out how people are exaggerating the extent that he dominated. For example, some posters on here made it seem like there was no way you could even give Fulton a single round, that every round was clear, that no round was even remotely close, etc. Meanwhile Fulton won the 7th and one judge gave him the 5th but after the fight everyone was acting like every round was clear, and if you scored any rounds for Fulton you were crazy, so stuff like that was what I was referring to, exaggerations to make Inoue seem like he dominated more than he actually did.

Yeah I mean I obviously recognize that Inoue was in control, was winning rounds, it was an impressive performance but several rounds were close namely the 5th and the 7th. But many posters were fanboying Inoue to the extreme trying to make it seem like Fulton was just getting completely decimated round after round. I was just trying to pump the breaks a little and say it was a great performance but lets not get crazy about how dominant it was. There's levels to how dominant a fight can be. It was somewhat dominant, sure, but not a complete domination by any stretch.

He was done after the seventh. He was getting walked down and cut off in the last minute of that and it was only a matter of time. He knew it too.

My initial thought of Fulton you can look it up on here was he has no power and isn’t authentically slick. Some fanboy on here was upset saying i was already descrediting Inoue. No i was just kepping it 100.

Cool boy gets hit a lot specially with the right hand.He looks like a 122 version of AJ a body builder frame but no power.38 percent KO in his career.Weak puncher to boot.
