18.8% agree with you!!!, and I am sure some of the others were tossing it up too.

Good 50/50 fight, Abe is easily the best fighter Jr has fought

If I can be bothered I will break it down before the fight, give you the keys to victory......and reveal my final prediction.....still undecided ;)

These days AA fights with a high guard slow feet and basically follows his opponent around the ring. No one gets tired fighting him because it's virtually little more than heavy bag work. Everything thrown at him is going to hit something whether it be arms glove head or body. Boxers tire rapidly from swinging and missing. CE is one of the most unrhythmic black fighters I have seen and could be described as untidy yet effective but he is the fittest guy around with a high work rate and rock solid chin. I cannot see AA winning a rd.

I haven't watched Eubank fight the domestic level opponents he's been feasting on so I went back and rewatched his fight with BJS. I remembered the fight being closer. BJS schooled him. Eubank also had a striking resemblance to Wilder. Tall and lanky, popsickle stick legs, and wild off balance punches. Unfortunately he doesn't have Wilders power.

Abraham has a better chance than I initially gave him.

Eubank will not KO him, though he looks extremely powerful it's clear from recent fights he doesn't actually carry that level of power. Don't let your hate for Eubank cloud the fact that AA is nowhere near where he used to be now and even then he wasn't this elite level fighter people are alluding to.

    Hi it’s James5000,

    Gamblersadvisory.com, James5000VIP.com

Remember the opinion you should follow should be your own, just consider this post to be a second opinion from a complete stranger online………….GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY!!!

Rising British star Chris Eubank Jr makes the 1st defence of his IBO world supermiddleweight title against legendary German powerhouse King Arthur Abraham @ Wembley Arena on July 15TH. This title bout also represents the 1st leg of the WBSS, with the winner claiming a QF birth against Turkish bruiser Avni Yildirim.

The fight appears to be a perfect combination of a career crossroads match as well as a stylistically epic contest. Eubank Jr aims to put the world on notice as he plans to be the first man to put Abraham to sleep, Abraham also has intentions to prove he is not done yet as he plans to squash the dreams of the young pretender.

Its an age old humdinger really Master vs Apprentice, Young bull vs Old bull, Speed vs Power

“Next Gen” Christopher Livingstone Eubank Jr keys to Victory

    Bang the body-

Arthur is old, Jr needs to make him feel even older! Jr is a vicious body puncher and the high guard presents the body on a platter. Jr can take the fight out of Abraham with a concerted body attack.

Shorten up combo’s for the first 6 rounds-

3’s and 4’s instead of 6’s and 8’s, this will conserve energy but it’s also for defensive reasons as sometimes Jr gets a bit sloppy at end of his long combinations and admires his work too much, this could lead to unnecessary opportunities for Abe. As the fight gets deeper Jr can ease in to the longer combo’s Abe will not have much left if the body attack is maintained.

    Maintain defensive awareness-

Jr needs to switch on when he’s in the danger zone and on the inside, he needs to keep his hands up, and he needs to move his feet and head. Keep Abe 2nd guessing, Abe will be looking to time Jr with big counters, Jr doesn’t want to become predictable. Jr can still play to the crowd and do his usual theatrics but he needs to do it well clear of the danger zone.

    High TEMPO

Nobody can live with Jr on work rate, Jr can bank a lot of early rounds on work rate alone and if he builds a decent lead I won’t be surprised if Abe just accepts defeat, a win will only mean he has to fight that monstrous Turkish bloke!!!

    Incinerate-

Not neccesarily a key to victory but koing Abraham will be a great feat, when Abraham starts fading in the later rounds I’d like Jr to pour it on and seek the stoppage.

“King” Arthur Abraham keys to victory

    Use the jab-

This ain’t rocket science, Abe has a nice and powerful jab that he can use to keep his younger foe in check, best to use it often I say. Jr isn’t hard to find with the jab, he doesn’t seem to even bother moving out of the way or defending it at times.

    Bang the body-

Abe needs to use body work too, not only can good body work lower output, it can stop the feet from moving too. Abes job will be made much easier if he can slow Jr down, then his chances of connecting are much higher

Use feet, try a bit of head movement even!!!!

Abe will be a sitting duck if he tries to stand straight in front of Jr. The high guard is like xmas time for Jr, he has surgical like precision tearing apart the high guard. The high guard invites body punching which is hard to defend as the arms are so high, once the body is softened up Jr can split the guard with hellacious uppercuts and hooks, body, head, head body. The best form of defence against this attack is footwork and head movement, Abe should put this on his to do list if he doesn’t want to be pissing blood for a week!!!

    Make him pay!!!-

Age is only a number can Arthur wind back the clock and regain his killer instinct? IMO this is the biggest key for the King, if he hurts Jr will he be able to pull the trigger and finish the job? If he can find the eye of the tiger his chances of victory multiply!

    Prediction/Conclusion/final thoughts

I expect the 1st round to be a quiet one, Jr might nick it doing slightly more than the nothing I expect from Abe

2-3 I see Jr working in to the fight and starting his body attack, by the end of the 3rd round I think Arthur will be feeling it. I also expect this to be a key moment in the fight as I think rounds 4-6 we will see Arthur attempt to take control of the fight.

4-6 will be where the winning or the losing of the fight happens. If Jr can sweep the 3 rounds I think Arthur might just call it a day and try to survive. However If Arthur can turn the tide and start getting to Jr he can cause the boil over.

I feel like Abraham will have his moments in these rounds and will land some decent shots but the moments will be too few and far between.

I think Jr takes control of the fight from this point on and starts beating Abe down a bit, I expect Jr will try and pour it on ABE seeking the stoppage and the ref will oblige TKO 9!!!

    And still!!!!!!!!!!!

You know what happens when you're the visiting guy, in a country known for premature stoppage, and you have a career long habit of shelling up for long periods of time without throwing punches.

Abraham's style is asking for trouble here, and he just might get it.

Eubank JR UD 12 between 117-111 and 120-108
Abraham will hide behind his guard for 12 rounds in a boring fight.

Have to go with jr on this one. Stylistically froch vs. Abraham again. Jr will win rounds by volume punching alone. The fights in England, so judges are on his side.

Abraham hasn't ko anyone in a long time; power isn't there for 168. If this fight was at 160 against Abraham (2008) and would take place at Germany, I would favore Abraham, but only a little.

The truth is, Abraham back in the days, was loosing many fights on points before knocking mediocore opponents out or he was enjoying home town judges. He never was a skillful boxer, he was just a big puncher. If you disagree, please point out, which of his wins at 160 were against better fighters than Eubank jr.?

Agree I also pick Eubank Jr here. But Abraham from 2008 @160 would KO Eubank Jr

While I agree he isn't a masterboxer he never had a real hometown decision/robbery win. He also clearly outboxed Taylor before the KO in round 12. I'm still not sure it Eubank Jr is any better than Eastman or Ikeke
