Ask Dawson...he was the one camping out for two days in front of the WBC President's house to beg him to revoke Diaconu's mandatory status!

Adamek might be a better and more complete boxer than Diaconu, but I don't think he is as dangerous. Styles make fights. Adamek might beat better competition, on the whole, than Diaconu, but when it comes to a slick boxer with excellent skills like Dawson, it takes an uncompromising, dangerous puncher like Diaconu, limited as he might be, to defeat him. If Diaconu cannot do it, either he wasn't quite good and dangerous enough a puncher, either Dawson's chin is better than we all think, either Dawson is better overall than we all think, or all of these things. We'll see.

 

Hey dude, how can you keep calm when we have to wait that long for the verdict, I guess you are more worried about Lucian signing his new contract...and you give a lot of respect for Dawson, witch he deserve.
But I don't, because if you are the best, well, you can't avoid your mandatory like he did and still wants to!!

I am waiting for Diaconu to get past Henry and we will see what he does against Dawson...suffice to say: I have a 2month avatar bet with huki on Dawson v. Diaconu...he will wear an avatar of my choice for 12 months if Diaconu beats him!

Yeah, Diaconu is good, but if he cannot put down Dawson and finish him...he'll never make it at the highest level.

 

Thank you for your wisdom, I might be a bit frustrated when it comes to The Shark, hell, this guy is a wild tornado. But you never know...in the mean time I will try to relax and open a few cold ones.

He has beaten all put in front of him. Dawson will have to face him if they both stay unbeaten in their next fight. We'll see how good he is then!:good

Just for the sake of arguments, how many Diaconu fights have you seen?

Calling Diaconu a club figfhter tells me you are a Dawson nuthugger, anyway, half the fun will be to see your guy on the canvas, the other half is his belt.

 

There's not much hype surrounding Diaconu...There's only about 10-11 posters who are really interested in him. 2-3 out of these hate Diaconu and think he is awful, yet, they care a lot about his career.

It's not a bandwagon either. Just a thread to talk about Diaconu and follow his career.

Only 2-3 posters think Diaconu will eat Dawson for lunch. The other 4-5 think he is the underdog against Dawson, but, that, because of styles and because of Dawson's chin, Diaconu might have a chance.

Sounds like you don't know anything about Diaconu's amateur background; sounds like you have never seen him fight...

We won't have to do anything if Diaconu gets beaten.

Anyway...next time, when you have nothing useful to contribute to a topic you know nothing about, ask a question instead.

 

Oh, I'm sorry.. I didn't know we were only allowed to praise boxers on this forum.

 

I didn't insult him at all. All's I was implying is that this thread is really going to lose steam after Dawson handles him no different from Adamek.
