The fight with Branco will be in Rome on the 16th of May.

Wlodarczyk will fihgt Fragomeni on the card as well. I think that will be the ME tho.

They just added Diaconu on the April 4th undercard in a 8 round tune up fight.

His title fight against Branco scheduled for April 10th was rescheduled(again) for may.

...could be a very good thing if it helps him get rid of some rust...should also mean his stamina will be a bit better with a few more rounds under his belt.

Could be a very bad thing if he gets injured during the fight or if he...gets beaten...

Yeah, David has a good chin and he is tough. It should be a good 8 round of work for Diaconu.

 

That's what's needed. 8 full rounds. Hope David doesn't KO Diaconu, though.

What's this I'm reading? The Italian card's been cancelled, rather than just rescheduled? Optional defence for Diaconu, instead of taking on a mandatory challenger first? How is this possible? Diaconu should be fighting Glen Johnson in his voluntary defence!

I've also read that Diaconu's about to sign a 2 year contract with Interbox!:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy

 

So Diaconu is gonna fight who again? Just some journeyman to clear some rust right?

Hopfully this fight goes the distance, Diaconu badly needs some rounds in.

Also rumor has it that Wlodarczyk is just as pist as Diaconu and has asked to fight for the interm WBC vs Rudolf Kraj. Nothing yet staged.

Diaconu got some good rounds in.

But he didn't look good AT ALL.

 

when i read it on boxrec i was like wtf who the hell but hey he won and pose to fight next month i wish they would show it in the us the branco fight i havent seen diacono yet. hear alot just not seen yet

 

Routine win for Diaconu yesterday, nothing more nothing less.

I'd make him a favourite over Pascal, but I think if he can't drag Pascal into a fight then the Canadian may pose some problems.
