cotto is still in his prime. so why would you think otherwise? because he was beaten by margo and pac? cotto is in his prime years and condition when pac fought him.

Exactly!!! These idiots cry about Pac not facing a slick black fighter, yet he's trying to face the slickest, blackest fighter today. Annoying isn't it? LIke arguing with a spoiled child.

Exactly! Anyone with common sense knows Arum agreed to the old terms and it was a half-hearted effort. He knew PBF would never agree to this which was fine for him he couldn't be more happy because he could one make PBF look like he ducked Pac and two get Pac in the ring with another fighter in his stable and keep all the money. It amazes me that people can't see right through this charade.

    universally, no.

Mosley was unranked by alot of people since he had been inactive for over a year. I can think of alot of people who drop fighters off their ranking when they are so inactive. I think Yahoo sports does that but if not then I know for a fact that some do.

Also, the whole point of pound for pound is that smaller fighters are at a disadvantage against bigger fighters. So you take Marquez a top5 p4p fighter and throw him in with someone who is 2-3 divisions bigger and he loses, it doesn't mean that the guy who beat him is a top p4p fighter. Alot of guys at 147 would beat Marquez.

yes barrera was a great fighter and shame he is still fighting but every fighter that pac has faced since the first barrera fight has lost his last but one fight apart from cotto and oscar and hatton. all of them fighting euro level talent before figjhting world class fighters again and even the hATTON AND CLOTTEY WINS ARE DISPUTABLE AGAINST THEIR RESPECTIVE OPPOENNTS, hatton nearly knocked out and clottey i disputable decisions

where does it say that to become an all time great you have to fight a afro american slick fighter? Dont you fight the best to become the best. And the truth is Barrera,Morales and marquez at his natural weight are better victories than any floyd has had in his career.

*****s are so stupid they use the "pac pulled out of the first fight" as an excuse for floyd ducking the fight. You know how fukin childish that is. That statement isn't even true because both walked away and both could have made the fight if they gave in to the other. Pac may have walked out first but what is he supposed to do if they cant compromise sit around a table sucking his thumb while they wait for the other side to give in.

cotto is not in his prime im not even going to explain why he isnt, he might be young but that doesnt always equal prime.

learn more boxing he clearly isnt in his prime, even your fellow pac stans are laughing at that comment

Ariza is not a trainer bro...He's not like Roger, Roach or Sr. Really bad comparision.

And Manny agreed to the testing but Floyd decided to go on vacation...his priorities was not to face manny but to avoid him by citing...vacation.

A LOT Of folks care about the Timing and the contradictive stance that the testing proved. Making a smaller man test whom is supposed to be a cake walk doesn't speak to what Floyd thought about Manny when he would comment on how easy he'd be to fight. And manny NEVER delcined..he just had timing stipulations on how close to the fight blood could be withdrawn.

The drug test was laid out after the Mosley fight. No test. No fight.

Arum's dumb but sent over some BS and Mayweather went on vacation.

So no, there were no negotiations. That doesn't mean Arum didn't send some BS over. It just got laughed at and dismissed.

yes but mosley's ranking was a little bit pulled-up. besides jmm's ranking won't matter on this cause he is moving-up in two divisions. he was p4p ranked based on what he accomplished at the lower weights. but i get what you are pointing that they are p4p ranked fighters even at an advance ages.

wrong he was rated top 5 p4p and the top ww in the world. list 5 sources to prove your case. if not it didnt happen.

mayweather was two divsions bigger at most not three. dont exagerate. regardless of the weight he was stil another top 5 p4p universally even though floyd was bigger, that dont mean they cant fight, its not as if floy fought him as a meaningful fight it was a tuneup he had been out for 18 months.

who else do you suggest as a tune up he fight that makes alot of money?

    explain
