It does look that way, but looks are deceiving lol. They both have good resumes, but what you said has to be factored in. Mab, Em were past their better days, and EM showed you his good he used to be. Em lost to Pac like a year later.

Care to explain what "Past their best" means to you? Does that mean both guys were chumps? ANYONE would have beaten them too? Of if you beat a past prime ATG fighter, it's meaningless since they were 'past it'?

    Oh NVM...you won't say ****.

Do you have an argument for Pacquiao having the better resume?

No, I have common sense. Do you? Other then just dismissing pac's big wins? :patsch

Funny you count Floyd's belt at 140 but not pac's at 147? Your too dumb and inconsistent to give a **** about.

You just focus too much on belts. Look kid, there's a ton in every division. I look at WHO they beat. Now run long...

This is a boxing forum lance. Its to discuss boxing. Saying "common sense" doesnt win you the argument.

"Big Wins" is subjective. Whens the last time one of Pacquiao's opponents has come off a dominating victory over a prime opponent?

Do you for instance consider Morale 2 a "BIG" win considering he lost decisively to Zahir Raheem?

If you had common sense you'd know that Mayweather has a better resume than Pacquiao.
Big wins besides Barrera I, Marquez I & II and Mosley? Who am I missing? It's not Hatton, De La Hoya, Clottey, Margarito or Cotto. It was not Barrera in the rematch or Morlaes in either of his wins against him.
Was Mayweather/Gatti not contested with a weight limit of 140 Lbs?
Mayweather won 2 Eliminator fights to get that fight.

    i think manny over all

but since the comeback i think its floyd win over marquez mosley and most likely ortiz in my mind trumps

Mannys' Clottey, Margarito, Mosley and upcoming Marquez

    but thats just me

career wise Manny has passed him if floyd didnt retire and continued to beat good fighters hed still be ahead but in his abscence manny really did some great things

Of course he doesn't. In his pathetic little mind, Pac tops Floyd in every category, and is better then Floyd......along with all Mexican fighters.

the size pac gave up to Cotto and the manner of drubbing he put on Barrera make me give this to Pac.

Erik Morales beat all the same guys Floyd did at 130, then MAB came and took those titles from him. Morales/MAB/JMM are better than all of Floyd's same size opponents. Floyd's best wins are early in his career: Genaro Hernandez, Corrales, Castillo, and then hatton and JMM. Judah is just too inconsistent to be a high point on his welter resume, and Shane unfortunately too inconsistent in a different way, and that oscar fight was suspiciously not a great performance from Floyd.

I feel like for Floyd's resume to beatPac's with its same size MAB 2X/EM 3X/JMM 3X/ Hatton brutally/bigger Cotto/Margarito/old Oscar/old Shane/small ledwaba, he needs to definitively beat Ortiz, Pac, Sergio martinez, and fight Hopkins win or lose. Just drubbing Pac won't mysteriosly make his overall resume better.

before pac jumped to welter everybody knew Cotto would just destroy him easy. That's not how we would ever have felt about a floyd/cotto match up because of size and style. But we might say, Martinez or Hopkins are just too big for Floyd, and give Floyd a 20% chance like Pac was supposed to have.
