Ortiz can't make 140. He weighed more than Berto. He came in around 162 come fight night against Berto. Do you like to be disingenuous, or does you bias hold you from the truth?

He's still a human punching bag. At best a +/- 0 fighter going in to the Pacquiao bout. Due to the fact that Judah has the style and speed to beat Mayweather I was being harsh with his +/- 0 score.
Pacquiao would come away with 1 point/5 fights with an AVG of 0.2. Still short of Mayweather's 0.6 AVG.

How am I being disingenuous? So Ortiz isnt' a career JW?

Where are all the real welterweights on Floyd's resume? And when I say real, I mean guys who spent most of their career at or above the weight.

That's the difference between Pac's and FLoyd's resume. Pac has actually been fighting proven welterweights. Floyd has spent his welterweight career taking on 140 pounders, no - namers, old or blown up featherweights, and he spent 2 years hiding in mansion while the division was at it's peak.

Here let me name all the guys that were around at 147 when Floyd was active in the weight class:

    PRIME/Undefeated Cotto
    PRIME Margartio
    PRIME Paul Williams
    Younger Shane Mosley
    PRIME Clottey

Now why don't you dumbass haters tell me who Pacquiao ducked? Please say Berto or Bradley so I can laugh at you. Pac fought the best guys out there, losses or not , the same guys that Floyd was too chicken **** to fight. Pac also did it after moving up from featherweight basically. Floyd had 5+ years to fight all those names that I listed and he didn't fight ONE of them. The only one was Mosley , who was way passed it and old by the time he fought him (which is the only reason he fought him. ). Floyd's 147 resume is all smoke and mirrors . It's a padded resume . If your gonna attack Pacquiao and defend that pile of **** it says everything about you.

Ortiz is a career JW so far in his career. So what? Holyfield was a career CW at 24 years old. Toney was a career MW at the time he fight Jones Jr. It doesn't mean he still wasn't drained. Fighters grow and mature and move up in weight. Pac and Floyd have done it numerous times. If Ortiz can only be some illegitimate WW disguised as a JW than Pac could never have been drained in his fights at the lower weights. Of course, that's ******ed logic. Ortiz is full-fledged WW now. He was clearly having trouble making weight against Petterson. Is there any other elite WW that comes in at a higher weight than Ortiz does? Ortiz is bigger than Floyd, Pac, and Berto. This is why you're being disingenuous. The guy came in at 162 pounds against Berto. What you're trying to pull with that logic is exactly like *****s talking about how Pac drains his opposition. You can't be objective, I get it.

It's not even arguable. Floyd fans are the worst ****ing boxing fans on the planet.

Having trouble making weight at 140, doesnt make him a proven welterweight. He had a good showing against Berto, but that's his only fight in the weight class. It's not about how big he is , it's about where he spent most of career at. Fighting at 140 and 147 is different. Ask Hatton.

thread ender here. but knowing how his fans defends him, i'm sure they would find some things to twist this and say that floyd has a more proven welter resume.
