Overall, this is a welcome development if we are for the cleanup of the sport. Let's hold the name-calling and **** and hope something good will come out and steps in the right direction taken. Dunno why May's fandom who were once vociferously parroting Floyd on cleaning the sport, could be so defensive and shaking in their boots right now (when nothing concrete YET and no specific persons indicted). atsch

I respect Montoya and appreciate what he's doing to help clean up the sport. In particular I think it's very important that he's putting direct pressure on the big boxing commissions and holding them to task. But beyond his personal agenda, I don't get why he's trying to discredit Mayweather. If he is a true journalist and not just a blogger, personal opinions on a man's character should not be shaping his work. Also, why is he putting no pressure at all on Pacman to lead by example and get tested.

Like it or not, there is only one reason drug testing is being discussed in Boxing right now. There is only one reason why some fighters have woken up and started calling for USDA, VADA, or any other type of additional testing. That reason is clearly Floyd and he deserves respect for that.

 

People like Shaunster and Uncle Rico don't spend all day, every day insulting Mayweather. How many posts, completely unrelated to Mayweather, have either of you two ever made? You're far more obsessive.
