Its funny that critics, experts and historians, trainers, fighters, analyst & promoters all consider Mayweather to be one of the greatest fighters EVER, not just of this era but in the entire history of the sport of boxing. They all consider him one of the most skilled fighters offensively & defensively in the world currently and ever. They consider him to be a natural talent with a repertoire that could allow him to compete and be competitive in any era. They all marvel at his entire career and rise in weight as well has his consistent dominance over his opposition in 5 separate weight classes. Mayweather has been on the P4P list for over 10 years at the top of it. He has probably been in no more than 2 fights that were close on the scorecards. He has never actually been knocked down. He has defeated every style of fighter in every kind of way. Yet when you come on Boxing Message Boards you would think that Mayweather is a cab driving bumb with no skills who really hasn't fought anyone and has got gift decisions his entire career.

It's incredible how much the opinions on "boxing message boards" & "regular social media users" differ from those of Boxing critics, experts, historians, trainers, fighters, analysts & promoters.:huh

 

Stop bitching for ****'s sake, a vast majority of posters here think Mayweather is one of the greatest who ever laced them up. And he is.

Admittedly, I have been very critical of Mayweather for certain behavior he has displayed. But anyone trying to claim that he's less than one of the greatest of all time has to be someone who has some other agenda or is just on here trolling.
