I didn't order either of the fights you mention. I look at Mosley's performance against Margarito as a last hurrah. Pac's third fight against JMM looked to be exactly how you described it.

    Just because I don't kiss Mayweather's ass doesn't mean I'm a *******.

Some people on this forum can't see past a binary opinion of Loving Floyd/Hating Pac, and Having Floyd/Loving Pac.

And for the record, Mosley was pretty much done in my opinion, when Floyd fought him.

To up their own. You point out a fact about someone's record, they go and try their best to shoot down the record.. Can't deny anything you said was fact, so they bring up anyone the fighter hasn't fought and say it had to be a duck... Although I'm quite sure Floyd/Pac don't decide who's a champion before they fight them.

It's simple. Because he had no business fighting Marquez ( the lightweight champ) , when he was an established welterweight for 4 years, and the WW champ (Mosley) was available and calling him out. Not only that he violated the catchweight agreement.

People **** on his Mosley win because he waited Mosley out for years until he was old and ended up looking like garbage. Pac fought a shot Mosley (basically the same version) for an easy payday -- but this was after he spent just a couple of years wiping out all the best fighters at WW, some of which Floyd shamelessly ducked.

This is true. Mosley is probably the most overrated fighter of all time. He has 50% record since 2001. He KOd a bum in Margarito and his stock shot up. Floyd said it would be easy work. The fight was made because fans, at the time, wanted it.

The Marquez fight is a great win period. He schooled Marquez, made him look bad. The Mosley win I don't rate nearly as high. He lost to Cotto, then was getting outboxed by ****ing Mayorga. The Margarito fight was an anomaly. I think he was either juicing again to be honest.

    See what?

Floyd 8 years at WW, didn't fight:

    prime Cotto
    Mosley (when it mattered)
    Pacquiao
    Margarito
    Williams

    Facts don't lie

Why did Pac's punkass team duck the **** out of Mosley when Mosley begged them for a fight in 2009

Mosley being old for Manny doesn't mean he also wasn't old for Floyd. It had been a year and a half since he fought Margarito.

He beat Marquez with great skill and style but he had a size and reach advantage Manny did not.

Not two of his best wins.

B, Marquez was bigger than Floyd fight night, even in their 130 lb-135 lb days. Marquez just cut less for the WW fight.

The gap in skill and style was telling. Not size or training.

    Sharmba Mitchell - Non Title
Zab Judah - IBF & IBO WW Title
Carlos Baldomir - Retained title and won 2/3 others
    ODLH - WBC LMW title
Ricky Hatton - Retained WW titles
    JMM - Non Title
Shane Mosley - No Title because Floyd didn't pay fees
Victor Ortiz - WBC WW title
Miguel Cotto - WBC & WBA LMW titles

Facts don't lie as you said. Just because he didn't fight who you current want him to have fought, doesn't mean he didn't fight good opposition filled with champions or Top P4P fighters.

If the resume above is bad in your opinion, stop watching boxing. You surely shouldn't be a fan of the person in your avy. This thread wasn't about his resume, just the two fights in the title. Keep it on topic. :thumbsup

This, they aren't his best wins. But anyone saying they're bad wins or not good ones are hating. Simple.
