Please. Floyd had the perfect style to beat a slow puncher like Maidana who is himself pretty open for the counter, and he did, but just barely. Floyd on paper should gave beaten Maidana EASILY, guess what it wasn't even close to easy. Floyd was even going to the ropes without Maidana doing much to him.

You guys don't get it. Mayweather's defense which he heavily relies on defense does not work as well when you are an awkward fighter who throws punches from weird angles. Mayweather's defense is hard wired to shut down text book fighters like JMM or canelo.

Also mayweather has a defense first mentality. He won't throw unless he knows its safe. That's why he throws 1 punch at a time. Pac's combination punching could keep Floyd in that shell. Pac can shoot his combos and get out before Floyd can counter.
