Pac didn't even visit him last Nov when he told his fans he would. Do you think he has the balls to face Floyd?

So he would get cut in there and get literally smothered with punches everywhere on purpose?. Was he controlling Maidana?. You ******s never fail to amuse.

Styles make fights. I think Floyd is competitive in any era. Pressure and activity are two different things. Maidana didn't stop throwing and was willing to take any counters that came in return. He didn't give Floyd much opportunity to work in between flurries. Also Maidana hit everything and it slowed Mayweather down he wasn't trying to land a money punch he just threw and landed wherever the ref would let him

    Ummmmm:huh:huh:huh

Arum robbed Pac of a win over Bradley to try to lure Floyd.......

If floyd was ever gonna fight Pac it woulda been directly after that SD loss.:think

First - A guy who faced Floyd 12 years ago.

Second - A guy Mayweather convincingly beat.

Third - The epic Maidana fight.

I can see your point OP.

if dodges and ducks the threats in and around his weight class, why not?

it just means he is the best at handpicking his opponents.

    that's all.

If Pac was as good as people here describe him, he would be undefeated with every fight being tko or ko.. These people who get in the ring and fight for our entertainment are human with only human abilities.. People say 'they gassed' but think they did that because they threw too many punches when reality is that Floyd's jab to the body slow them down..

I've been following boxing now for the last 8 years but not a die hard boxing fan.. I'm trying to expand my knowledge and been watching more fights in different weights than ever over the last 3 or 4 years.. To learn more I decided to join a forum but I now realize it's not for me.. People hate certain guys so much that no credit is given no matter what.. People hate LeBron but still recognize him as the best in the sport with Kevin Durant closing in.. I guess I'll find a new form to join with more structure...

i never said anything of the kind. awkward shots are fine but you can't go ape**** with limited power and stamina. luckily for maidana floyd doesn't have much welterweight power either and held most of the fight like a scared *****. maidana shouldn't even be in the ring with a supposed p4p #1 or best ever type fighter, much less whup his ass like he did last night.

well, i thought about this too but i think Maidana just used dirty tactics and there wans't much Mayweather could do to make this fight look better for him.

BUT, the thought of Mayweather trying to make this fight close did cross mind but NOT FOR REASONS you cite. I was thinking maybe he wanted this fight to be close so he could fight Maidana AGAIN, NOT PACQIAO. In a way this would be DUCKING MORE AND MORE...avoiding PACQIAO. You could see everyone on the ring was taclking a rematch already and Floyd would get another big pay day against Maidana, an even bigger one next time around as this fight was entertaining and closer that people expected.

So if you cant to come up with a stragegy here, it isn't to renew interest for a Pac vs Floyd fight, IT'S TO SET THINGS UP FOR A REMATCH. From Floyd's perespective - more $$ and more excuses to avoid Pacqiao
