    Here’s a nice rhetorical question;

    Would you rather have a tried and tested granite chin which gets tagged regularly in every fight you have?

    Or would you rather have such a good defence that the only time anyone has ever even wobbled you is permanently raised as a question of your chin by people who spend every waking moment consumed by their obsession of you?

    The object of the sport is to hit and not get hit ..Why anyone would want to test their chin is beyond me ..I forget what trainer said it maybe it was Cus but he was like I don't want to see if my fighter can take a punch I want to see him avoid the punch !

    When Floyd and Manny retire, who will be seen as the better of the two? Who will rank higher on the ATG list?

    This is still somewhat of an open issue. It could change by how they perform in the next few years… especially if they fight each other.

    ATM Pacqiuiao is ahead. 140 and above their resumes are comparable. Mayweather may have edge. Pre-140 Manny's is well above Floyd's… no comparison.

    Floyd ranks higher than Manny at 130. He beat Hernandez, Manfredy, and Corrales.

    boxing_bicth and ladyboy are the worst trolls i have ever seen. they dont even know the sport at all and yet spew utter nonsense on here daily.

    ssm hurt floyd with a haymaker, from ssm that was floyds age NOW, on the friggin temple. that KO's most ww now tomorrow and yesteryear. thats the WORST place yo get caught clean. floyd showed what a true badass he is by taking it and within 1 minute rapping ssm for the remainder of the fight

    Honestly Mayweather could KO Pacquiao three times in a row to end his career and fans of Pac will still say he's better. All things being equal one has most division titles in boxing history the other has most champions beaten in boxing history I think Pacquiao goes down more beloved by the fans and Mayweather ends up rated higher all time. Between the two I'd personally take Mayweather beat more guys coming off impressive showings.

    I couldn't agree more the legs don't lie. He was being smart by holding Shane right away from the first shot so he couldn't land another he was buzzed but not hurt as you said he went right back at him and walked him down a hurt fighter doesn't do that. The second shot was the shot that hurt him and you could see it in his legs, he retreated that's what a hurt fighter does. I swear these guys are reaching looking for stuff that isn't there.

    It's less to do with them reaching, and more to do with they don't know what the heck they are looking at. Just IMO. They are so focused on "Floyd grabbing the right arm" they can't see anything else. You are absolutely correct: It was to avoid the follow up shot.

    Like I've said before, I bet half these guys don't even know how to throw an effective punch, and it's clear even less have ever "taken a punch." Would probably hurt their wrist on a heavy bag....
