NO. The word "duck" gets too easily thrown around here, often without merit. IMO, it only truly becomes applicable when a fight has been festering for a long time and excuse after excuse keeps popping up for the fight not being made.
Again, see FLoyd/Pac as the only fight that could be considered a true duck.

to be fair, it doesn't really take much to scare Floyd. his whole career is basically about him fearing the top men around him. it isn't just one or two fighters to do that, it's a good handful.

    Taking credit for Margarito now?

Danny Garcia fights the top guys at 140, then fights an unranked opponent coming up in weight: gets called a cherry picker.

Manny Pacquiao always fights the top ranked opponents, then fights an unranked opponent coming up in weight on Nov. 22: it's "mouth watering"

Floyd Mayweather always fights the top ranked opponents: gets called a cherry picker.

Someone please explain the logic behind this.

If Salka had just beat Mattysse your analogy would be more appropriate.

......GGG kos Geale a top 3 middleweight and *****s call Geale a bum and unimpressive.

Garcia Ko's a a lightweight gate keeper who isn't even ranked in the top 50 and the response is "He did what he had to do".

    Explain the logic behind that.

    *****s? :patsch

That's like me calling Danny Garcia-haters *******s. A comment like this from a known Floyd-hater such as yourself is expected.
