Fact is both fighters are past their best so it will never be as good a spectacle as it could have it Floyd hadnt ducked it.

Any half knowledgeable boxing fan knows Floyd is not the GOAT. And fact is, if he does fight PAC and loses, there will be a lot of people saying "I told you so".

Phenomenal boxer, without question, but will be remembered for the fight he didnt take imho.

You are aware that Floyd makes more than 30m a fight?

Why would he need 3 fights to make a 100

So lets asume Paq used drugs. That paq kills Floyd right? No need to argue?

Many said that paq would lose and I was one of them I never understood why he asked that to take the test.

pac beat zombie weight drained Oscar and ko'd hatton thats it! cotto ko was accumulation ko.

Holyfield dared to be great... At Floyd's age he was fighting Lennox Lewis 2 times... not some one-hit wonder that hasn't beaten a top fighter and probably never will.

    Buck, I agree.

I believe the fight will happen.

    Now, sooner rather than later.

IMO It's Pacquiao that has a boxing career timer hanging around his neck. His time is running short.

I believe anyone who thinks knows this. Including Floyd.

No one is going to pass this up, and I believe that both parties will want a two fight deal. If the first fight is highly competitive, even more money is possible for the second one.

it's a great way for both to go out financially and, possibly, in terms of their respective legacies.

Pacquiao will sell the fight or not by performing well against Algieri.

Great, but predictable, win for Floyd this weekend.

    Coming months will be interesting.

This is why I don't want mayweather to fight pac because he will get no respect for beating him. You guys want the fight but are criticizing him for making it now if he does indeed chose to do so.

Pac ran from testing and from 40 million and according to roach, arum, and pac, they don't need mayweather so why all the attention. Go continue to fight fighters like Algerie

They'll fight in 2016, 6 years too late.

Thanks Floyd! And Arum and Manny for that matter too!

    Really making boxing look good.

One part of me can't believe it because it's an easy fight for him to win that would enhance his legacy and is still worth a lot of money. And part of me can believe he would pass on Pac because I know him not fighting Pac is about spiting him for that lawsuit Pac filed on him. Also, because Floyd may like the money but does not need it, doesn't seem to care a whole lot about legacy, and does care a lot about control. Him not fighting Pac is way of saying no one can make me do anything I don't want to, when people stop asking him to fight Pac, that's when he will be most open to it.
