*****.......get the Mayweather nutz out of your mouth. Play dumb? That's your area kid.....let me school you corky... Invasive testing i.e. blood testing is NOT a practice for any athletic event under any governing body overseeing the safety and health risks of athletes on any level. You might be asking "why".......well *****......Invasive testing means they have to literally break skin.....Flesh to obtain samples for testing....any openings on the body of an athletes is a major health risk when having to compete.

Governing bodies like WADA who oversee olympic drug testing all year round are considered the "gold standard"......their protocol is commonly used as the benchmark for organized drug testing and they don't practice administration of any blood tests on the day of any event......neither does VADA. Both organization blood test but are NOT heavy in that area because the best method of testing for illegal substances in an athletes system is through urine tests. It's a more cost effective and efficient method of testing which is why their testing relies heavily on urine analysis.

Which is exactly why the argument put forth by Pac and his defenders that he needed a cutoff to ensure USADA or any other organization wouldn't be coming to him the night of the fight asking for blood was at time, and remains, ABSOLUTE BULLSH!T.

Glad to see you finally acknowledging that.

Roach and Bob actually made that exact point......but the two boxers were making a mockery out of the "negotiations". The ridiculous weight penalty was just as bad as the demand for extra testing with such an aggressive emphasis on blood testing. Again........Floyd really didn't want to make this fight. If he really did no one doubts he would've gotten what ever he wanted.

You do realize the stink over extra testing only occurred after Mayweather accepted that ridiculous $10 million per pound stipulation don't you? There was literally nothing negative said about the testing until Mayweather accepted their demands. They ducked Mayweather, and it's obvious as heck.

Look at a timeline of comments made, and you'll see it went from "no problem with extra testing" to "we have a problem" AFTER Mayweather accepted their demands.

You sayd "Floyd really didn't want to make this fight..." yet you ignore the fact that only one side refused to accept the contract terms: Pacquiao. If Mayweather fought a guy coming off a loss like Pacquiao did, he would have been crucified. This man love for Pacquiao is ridiculous.

I dont take either side there are so many factors that have come into play that stopped this ever being made

egos and hatred between arum and floyd
arum and haymon get judges in their pockets I bet it would have become a damn bidding war haha
pac not wanting to give any advantage as much as floyd ie weight fines and blood testing

thats without even going into detail because i cba there are too many people with egos and not willing to lose from both sides they dont want this and fans are being played with the blame being thrown around to distract from the truth and they are still getting our money and all in house so what do they really care? they get news articles and relevance for their fighter just by even mentioning the others name they could put pac in with a wooden doll and call out floyd the whole build up to it and people would tune in just see if he wins and says i want floyd next

Exactly. These attempts to re-spin history are tragic.

Sad this guy could one day be the president of the philippine.

How can someone that inspires to be president of his country be so indecisive and submissive to some New york lawyer.
