you seriously don't remember this? it's the time when he got his jailtime pushed back. at the time, Arum (possibly thinking Floyd would be in jail in May), stated they'd be ready for JMM come May 5th. Then Floyd's date to report to jail got pushed back to June. Then Arum said Pac's cut won't heal in time, they don't have enough time to promote the fight, need a stadium built...JUne would be perfect for the fight KNOWING Floyd would be in jail.

you really don't remember all that?

I believe Floyd will beat Pac on points if they fight within the next few months. Sad thing is, it looks like Floyd himself does not believe this. Undoubtedly, this will be the biggest payday for both Floyd and Pac so there is really no reason to avoid this fight.

as long as pacquiao has been in his head, floyd will freeze up too much against manny, especially after he tastes a lead left or two. you know, when he counters manny, manny is going to counter that right back.

    pacquiao decision

It think it will be a chess match, as Manny is more measured in his attack now. And Floyd is and has always been the better chess player. What Maidana did in that first fight is what bothers Floyd more than anything. Jump on him with relentless aggression and make it a street fight. Nobody is outboxing him. If you give him time to think, he will figure out your flaws and exploit them. And Manny will eat that right hand all night. It's obvious that he can't fix that.

I give Manny a puncher's chance. That left is lethal and if he can land it clean enough times, it could change the fight. If he can score a KD or 2 that will put Floyd behind and force him to be more aggressive to catch up, which plays into Manny's hands.

I see the fight going Floyd's way, in an 9-3, 8-4, type of affair. Manny's activity and flashy combos will win some of those early rounds. While Floyd's slick defense, clean punching, and ring generalship will take the majority.

Why do people act like floyd has never been hit by true power punchers??you guys are nuts if u think manny hits harder than canelo,Mosley and cotto...so I don't see mannys "power" having anything to do with this... Only his speed may be a factor...8 rds to 4 UD floyd mayweather just too great of a pure boxer to get caught by mannys traps...mostly has to watch out for pacquiao feints as floyd IS known to fall for feints

This forum used to be wall to wall with stuff like this.

Maybe the best submarine movie ever made. I kind of doubt Manny's heard of it though.

If Manny gets reckless, Floyd can put him to sleep. If JMM can find the opening, FMJ can find - and create - more openings to exploit.

Manny will bring the pressure though.
