Mayweather's had good competition. It's hard to argue that point. For example, I think Canelo is a good fighter.

Mayweather managed to beat him without taking much of anything in return.

It's just that Mayweather avoided certain stylistic challenges to him throughout his career.

He avoided Margarito and Pacquaio. I also think he avoided Cotto for a period of time, and Cotto gave him one of his toughest fights, a fight in which Floyd contemplated retirement afterwards.

The fact is, Floyd is a notorious ducker; however, he has beaten some good opposition.

When is Floyd going to fight Pacquaio though?

The time for Margarito has passed.

 

If Mayweather would just fight Pacquaio, all this Mayweather talk would stop.

 

Doesn't matter it was just a way for you to try and discredit the win and PBF. His resume is filled with great names just because you don't succeed in the amateurs doesn't mean you can't be good pros. Most Mexican fighters don't do **** in the amateurs but a lot turn out to be good pros. How many great amateurs did Pac beat? How about RJJ? How about Hopkins?

 

He never avoided Cotto. Arum wouldn't let Cotto within two time zones of PBF when both were back at 140 and you know it. PBF agreed to fight Hatton, Cotto and Margo but Arum wouldn't let those fights take place you've seen the article posted here 1000 times quit acting like it doesn't exists.

I do believe that Floyd is very good in terms of boxing skills.

But tell me what p4p means. He doesn't allow chance for good opponents, fihgting 1-2 times a year opponents that he knows he will beat. He is doing money on increasing people hates level. 40 000 000 for one fight against limited opponent.

Don't tell me about Canelo. This guy could not normally connect to Lara face during 12 rounds. Lara lost only because stupidly made Canelo out of his shell and angry. Canelo was way more Ambitious. for example, just compare Canelo preparation for Mayweather and Lara. For Mayweather he was playing in pool with his brothers, for Lara he was evil in doing. He wasn't trying to box with Lara he was there to kill. Even though in terms of classic boxing he lost.

Considering Canelo, we also are talking about person who makes millions in boxing himself "allowing" other boxers to face him.
